Chapter 49: Elliots Strength! (2/2)
In the very next split of a second, Elliot's wildest imagination started to manifest into the real world. Dozens of units of the essence of life burst forth from his body, extending outwards in all four directions for several meters and then shaping into a massive dome.
A golden dome manifested around them, providing them with a hell of a lot of defense. It only had a single narrow entrance. The entrance was so narrow that only a single Iron-Fanged Shade could enter the dome at a time.
The entrance was too narrow for more than one to get inside at a time!
That meant that Elliot needed to kill only one of them at a time, and as long as he kills one the moment it enters, he will face no danger whatsoever.
What Theo, John, and Lisa saw left them awestruck. Their eyes threatened to pop out of their socked, and their gaping mouths threatened to drop to touch the ground. How could he create such a magnificent defense in mere moments? How is he so strong? Is he really a magician in the magical realm?! There is no way he is!
Bam
Bam
Bam
They got pulled out of their shocked state by loud thudding sounds resulting from dozens of Iron Fanged Shades slamming into the dome. Their eyes remained opened wide in shock as they saw that their attack didn't even leave a single crack on it.
The beasts didn't have any intention of giving up. So, a few of them tried to enter the dome through the narrow entrance.
”Time to farm free experience points from some nasty looking monsters,” Elliot said with a laugh as he saw that a beast was about to enter the dome through the narrow entrance.
With a thought, golden swords manifested around him.
Whoosh
Whoosh
Whoosh
The swords cut through the air, glistening under the moonlights, charging towards the beast who was about to enter the celestial dome.
In the very next instant, the sword chopped its sturdy body into two.
”One down and several dozens to go!” Elliot said, killing another one the moment it entered the celestial dome.
The same thing happened time and time again!
Numerous Iron-Fanged Shades in the third stage of the magical realm, many in the fifth stage, and a few in the seventh and eighth stage entered the celestial dome one after another to get to them. However, they died with their bodies chopped in two halves before they could even reach them.
The corpses of the beasts fell down to the ground so fast and so rapidly that it almost felt like it was literally raining cats and dogs, although a bit too overgrown version of the previously mentioned species.
Lisa, Theo, and John didn't do anything as Elliot has told them to not interfere with his battle with the beasts no matter what and just sit down, relax and enjoy the show.
He didn't want them to do anything as he wanted to defeat all the beasts by himself so that he would earn the right to extract the essence of life out of all of them.
Within an hour, Elliot killed several dozen beasts and scared the rest of them away.
