Chapter 42: Subjugation mission (2/2)

”Let's accept it,” Elliot said, telling them to let's do this mission.

”Alright!”

”Guys, come here and scan the magic scan on the upper edge of this screen to register yourself as a person participating in this mission,” Theo said before he took out his quantum card and used it to scan the magic code that was at the upper part of the holographic mission screen.

Elliot, John, and Lisa also walked up to the holographic mission screen next to Theo and scanned the magic code on it, registering themselves as participants.

They left the mission hall after that and went down the stone-paved path, heading towards the gates.

”Halt! What's your purpose from coming down the mountain?”

The guards at the gates stopped them when they saw the four of them approaching.

”We need to go out to the New Moon Woodlands to complete a mission,” Elliot said to the guards.

”Pass us your quantum cards.” One of the guards said, asking them to hand over their quantum card to them.

”How long will it take?” Elliot asked as one of the guards took his card.

”It will only take a few moments.”

They gave their quantum card to the guards, and a few moments later, the guards verified that they are indeed participating in a mission.

”Okay, it's done!”

The guards said as they passed their quantum cards back to them.

”Good luck completing the mission!”
