”You're wrong about two things,” Snowy shook her head and spoke unhurriedly to Ming Xiong, with a firm and calm voice, ”First, I don't need anybody to protect me. Instead, I'll be the one who will protect Feng Xue and Feng Family. And second, do you think you're already winning by controlling these spirit beasts? Do you think you're the only one who can do it?”
The implication of Snowy's words shook Ming Xiong's confidence.
Does it mean she also had an ability to control the spirit beast?
If it was true, then why had he never heard about her before?
With rare ability like controlling spirit beasts, she would have already renown across the Eastern Region by now, just like him.
'She must be bluffing and just want to buy time.'
This reason was making more sense to him.

”Don't think about waiting for reinforcement; they will only coming here to collect your dead body by then.”
He utterly dismissed Snowy's word and didn't take it at face value. Snowy knew this yet didn't make any effort to correct his misunderstanding and decided to play along with it.

Snowy tried so hard to pretend to be frightened; she pointed and yelled at Ming Xiong just like the typical villain when they got beaten.
At least, that was the impression she got from the records of her previous host.
”That's only because I wanted to capture you alive, which was, unfortunately didn't work as well as I thought. But now, I change my mind! I must kill you here so you won't be a threat to Heavenly Blood Sect later on!”

Only because they are voicing their opinion, they lost their life.
It was her fault.
She caused their death.
'I need to calm down.'
Snowy surprised by how much the death of irrelevant people affected her emotion.
They didn't have anything to do with her, yet her heart aching by the sight of their death.

She muttered those phrases, and her eyes filled with conviction.
