”You aren't joking, are you?” asked Rong Hua, still in disbelief.

”I'm not joking,” replied Snowy with a serious tone, ”You can't be blamed for your ignorance. The Nine-Petal Lotus is rare even in Heaven Plane, and most people only ever see the mature one. That's why Nine-Petal Lotus is called fate-changing treasure, and a lot of people misunderstand what it really means due to its magnificent medicinal properties.”

Rong Hua made a big gulp once again and thanked the heaven for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Even if she was an Immortal King who could live until 10,000 years, the benefit she would get from the lotus was still very precious for her.

Feng Xue looked at the embarrassed Snowy and gripped her hand tight while smiling at her. She always became more assertive every time she saw Snowy being shy or flustered.

Although Snowy was getting increasingly embarrassed, she didn't reject or refuse Feng Xue's hand and only looked down timidly.

The pinkish mood continued for a while before a voice interrupted Snowy and Feng Xue's moment.

”Look, the Nine-Petal Lotus is entering its final stage before blooming!”

Rong Hua pointed at the blackened lotus in the middle of the lake, absorbing moonlight like crazy. A halo formed around it like a marking line giving an impression that nothing inside can ever cross the boundary and escape beyond it, including light.
