And Tesla came slowly from the corridor, like a devil in the smoke.

”We charged him?” Sanier was puffing the dust out of his mouth, his back against the shelter, breathing.

Just now Howard's energy rifle dropped. Nathaniel had to take a Wilson 17 from his arms to defend himself. This is his backup weapon, but I'm afraid that ordinary bullets are no threat to armour.

Howard gasped because he didn't even have a spare weapon: ”he might have improved the mechanical system.”

Nathaniel took a look at his head from behind the bunker and immediately drew back: ”I don't think his energy supply came from that suit.”
