Chapter 1944 (2/2)
According to the records of the ten continents in the sea written by Dongfang Shuo of the Han Dynasty, Kunlun Mountain is the star in the sky.
The emperor's century written by Huangfu Mi of Jin Dynasty said that when Fuxi was the son of heaven, wanqiu of Kunlun was the capital.
The Kunlun Mountain has been regarded as the ”first holy mountain”, ”the ancestor of mountains” and ”the ancestor of dragon veins” of the Chinese nation.
There are endless myths and legends on Kunlun mountain.
In legend, Kunlun Mountain is said to be the place where the great God of Pangu created the world because of its high altitude.
Pangu is the master of all gods and immortals, and Kunlun Mountain is also respected as the master of all mountains.
After the opening of heaven and earth, Kunlun Mountain was also the place where Fuxi, the ancestor of humanity, observed the movement of the sun, moon and stars here, and thus created the eight trigrams.
In mythology, there are trees on the Kunlun Mountain, which are the channels connecting heaven and earth, and the emperor of heaven went up and down from then on. People can also go to heaven by building trees. Later, the emperor felt that it was chaotic and disordered, so the Jedi opened the sky and closed Jianmu.
Moreover, there is a fairy on the Kunlun Mountain, that is, the queen mother of the West.
It is said that the queen mother of the West lived in Kunlun Mountain and was in charge of the largest Xianchi yaochi in the world.
”Yao Chi” is recorded in many ancient books. It is said that it is the Black Sea at the source of Kunlun river. There are various kinds of immortal animals and birds living here. It is called fairyland.
Not far from the Black Sea is the legendary place where Jiang Taigong practiced the five element road for 40 years.
There is such a saying in the book of mountains and seas · the great wilderness West Sutra: ”beyond the northwest sea, in the corner of the great wilderness, there are mountains, but they are not compatible, which is called Buzhou negative son.”
This is the description of buzhoushan in ancient China.
According to ”Huainanzi · daoyuanxun”, Buzhou mountain should be in the northwest of Kunlun Mountain, not far from the ancient Kunlun mountain.
In the myth, there were water god Gonggong and Huoshen zhurong in ancient times. The two were incompatible. Because of the incompatibility of water and fire, the earth shaking war broke out. In the end, Gonggong failed and could not touch Zhoushan.
As a result, Buzhou mountain collapsed and Kunlun Mountain in myth was also affected. Therefore, there was a legend of Nuwa mending the sky...
