86 Are You Alright, Dr. Wu ?? (1/2)

Four Days Later.

It was the day for Xu Zhuya to be discharged. Wu Yanchen had gone for shopping to buy some clothes for her. He bought a beautiful sunset orange dress along with some matching accessories.

Holding the bag of clothes, he entered inside. He saw Dr. Yi examining her. Seeing Wu Yanchen enter inside, Dr. Yi gave a smile and while focusing his eyes on Xu Zhuya asked ”Where were you ?? Ditching all the work, I suppose. Haha!!”

”Not ditching, it was shopping.” Wu Yanchen held the bags higher so that Dr. Yi can see.

Dr. Yi gave a chuckle and then spoke to Xu Zhuya ”You need to do what I told you. Don't forget to take the medications on time and consume a balanced diet, okay ??

Xu Zhuya gave a nod.

Just as she looked at the other side, she saw a bag being handed to her. With a questionable look, she asked ”What's this ??”

Before Wu Yanchen could answer, Dr. Yi answered ”Ofcourse, Those are clothes. You are getting discharged, so this man ditched his work to go for shopping.” He gave a teasing look to Wu Yanchen.

Getting teased, Wu Yanchen was turning red. Dr. Yi was quick enough to notice his burning cheeks and said ”Aigoo !!! You really are getting red !! Haha !! A great sight to see !! Hahaha !!” Dr. Yi started laughing loudly.

Wu Yanchen wanted to surprise Xu Zhuya by giving those clothes. Instead of surprising her, he ended up being teased.

He cleared his throat and ignored the laughing man. He looked at Xu Zhuya and said ”These clothes are for you. Put them on and then we will leave.”

He handed the bags to her and taking Dr. Yi along with him, left the room.

”Do you have a death wish, old man ??” Wu Yanchen said to Dr. Yi with a deathly glare.

Seeing his deathly glare, Dr Yi gave up. ”Alright , alright !! I will stop... Aish!!! What's with this man ?? He never plays.” He lost all his interest in teasing him.

”There are chances that she might remember him.” Dr. Yi said with a serious expression. His expression was so serious that no one could tell that this man was laughing and teasing someone just a few minutes ago.

”I know !!” Wu Yanchen said looking down. There were tears in his eyes, but he didn't wanted to show it. He lowered his eyes.

”But, damn !! You get serious real quick !!” Wu Yanchen said while averting the topic.

He was averting the topic, but he was also curious as to how this old person was able to change his mood like changing clothes.

”Take care of yourself and her, Wu Yanchen. This are the words from a father to a son !!” Saying this, he patted Wu Yanchen's back.

To be precise, when they were in the hospital, they both acted like they are colleagues, but when they were outside of the hospital, they cared for one another, just like how a father and son does.

They shared each and everything about one another. They never hid anything from each other and their bond was so close that they both would understand each other's feelings without being told or expressed.

Wu Yanchen after shifting over at Country X, didn't spend much time with his dad, Wu Mo. It was then, that he had met Dr. Yi. a cheerful and joyous person, yet serious and stern at work.

They both got along real well and real quick. They took care of one another like a father and son.
