An hour later.

Xu Zhuya was lying in the bed looking at that envelope. She got frustrated. She took her phone, she went through her old photos. She noticed that she was really happy back then and her eyes fell on that familiar person. It was Li Wei, even he was having a happy smile on his face.

But after looking at that photo she was confused as to whether his smile was even true or fake. The way he accepted her divorce, the way he told her to leave the house, that angry glare all this compared to that smile which one was true. She couldn't understand it anymore.

She recollected how they used to tease each other, play with each other. One day it so happened that he pretended to be sick and didn't allow her to go work.

Xu Zhuya was forced to recollect that particular day's happenings.

It just went like this...

It was a summer morning. The sun was bright. Xu Zhuya got out of the bed. She scratched her head and looked at the guy sleeping beside her. He was sleeping peacefully, but was disturbing Xu Zhuya's mind was that it was already 7 and he was still not awake.

She was wondering as to why he didn't wake up till now. She reached closer to wake him up. She shaked him a little but there was no response from him.

Xu Zhuya went a little more closer, she caressed his face and said seductively ”Hey Darling, wake up ! You are getting late to work. If you don't wake up quick I'll also be late to work. C'mon wake up. I'm going to freshen up, be awake before I come back okay ?? muahh...”

She kissed on his cheeks and turned towards the bathroom. Just as she was about to walk; Li Wei held her hand and pulled her towards him. Xu Zhuya was surprised by his sudden action.

She immediately tried to push his hand away but his grip was very tight , so she ended up staying in his arms. Li Wei snuggled up to her body and said in a sleep tone ”Let me sleep for a while. I don't want to go for work today.”

Xu Zhuya tried pushing him and said ”Uggh !! Why do you not wanna go to work today huh ??”

Li Wei : ”Because I'm not well.”

Xu Zhuya gave a worried look and said ”What do you mean by not well ? Are you okay ??” She checked his temperature. ”Your temperature seems to be normal. May I know why you are unwell?”
