18 She Had The Bestest Time Of Her Life (1/2)

Now that everything was back to normal, both Xu Zhuya and Yan Rong got out of the room. They bid their goodbyes and left to continue their work.

Xu Zhuya checked her file. She saw thatshe had to go and check upon the patient in Room 016. The room was very near to her room. She just had to take a right and then she would reach the room. When she reached Room 016 she kept her hand on the door knob and gave a deep sigh and then entered the room with a brightest smile.

On the bed she saw a little girl lying on the bed in the hospital gown. The girl was very weak and thin.

Xu Zhuya muttered to herself 'hmm looks like she didn't have her food or anything. That's too bad of her.' Suddenly she heard the girl speak ”No you are wrong, I really had my food. See I even took the injection also. I'm really a good girl.” She said while pointing at the injection mark on her right hand.

When Xu Zhuya heard her speak ”Oh! I didn't knew that. I'm sorry Dr. Xu is really sorry. And I was just muttering to myself I wonder how you heard it? Well you are a good girl I know that.”

The girl gave a soft chuckle and said ”Hehe Dr. Xu, If you will speak that loud anyone will hear it. You don't have to be sorry it's okay. Between where were you for these 2 days? You know I really missed you Dr. Xu.”

After hearing what the girl said Xu Zhuya had tears in her eyes. She went and gave the girl a light hug and patted her head. ”I was not well. But now I'm fine so you don't need to miss me anymore cause I won't take any more leaves and will always be there with you whenver you need me alright ?”

The little girl nodded and said ”Thank you Dr.Xu. I hope I get well real soon so that I can study and be a doctor like you.” When Xu Zhuya got her answer she spoke ”Don't worry sweetheart. You will get well real soon and you will be a doctor like me. But I'll pray that you don't have a life like me that's all. Alright now it's time for you to sleep. Go to sleep now or else you won't get well soon.”

The girl pulled Xu Zhuya's coat and said ”Can I get a goodnight kiss ? Without a good night kiss I can't sleep and mommy is not here for now so, can you give me a kiss?” Xu Zhuya let out a small chuckle and gave the girl a goodnight kiss and said ”Alright sweetheart, sleep well.”

When Xu Zhuya left the room she said to herself 'hmm, she's really good at everything. But where is her mother? Why is she not with her now? I hope everything is okay with her parents.'

Xu Zhuya looked at her watch. There was still time for her to go home. But she had questions in her mind 'Where am I even supposed to go ? I can go to my parents place but it's quite late I don't want to disturb them. I'll go in the morning. Let me just stay over here that's better.'

Just as she decided to stay over in her room Yan Rong entered her room and said ”Come over and stay at my place. I won't take it as a no. After a long while we will have some hotpot together. C'mon let's go.” She went and started pulling Xu Zhuya from her chair.
