Chapter 484 - Rose coloured magic Part 1 (2/2)

”Gone to warn the people who harmed you.”

Somebody harmed her? When did they do that?

Ralph sighed. ”Child, I think you should be more careful when your following young Allen around. The people who request for work and audiences are not kind people. They maybe affiliated with the castle. But among them there are those who want to cause damage.”

Lyn traced back to the events earlier in the day. ”Ah.” She paused. ”I ate the apple he didn't want to eat.”

Allen looked exhausted and so she picked up the bowl of apples to give him some. Allen told her to throw it away and he even seemed angrier when he saw it.

Is that the reason why? Allen knew it was poisoned.

”Why is my mark like this?”

”As you know the mark is like a curse. So if you eat anything poisonous it will act up.” Ralph trailed off. ”Unfortunately poison is not my speciality. So I called somebody over.”

Called somebody over? Her thoughts broke off when the windows slammed open. Her eyes widened when she saw a woman with long ping coloured hair enter.

”Mis-”

Penelope immediately pulled her into her arms. ”How you've suffered. There, there. I'm back now.”

It's really her former master. Lyn felt the tears well up in her eyes.

”Aah? Don't cry. I have loads of gifts for you. Are you feeling that bad?”

Ralph coughed. ”She was poisoned, of course she feels bad.”

”Ralph, how could you let Lyn get poisoned? Also what's all these rumors about her being neglected. How could you let that happen to her?”

”That was already occurring when she met you… Well, forget it.” Ralph nodded. ”Indeed, I shouldn't have let it get this far.”

Penelope sighed and turned to her. ”Stay still for a moment Lyn.”

Lyn nodded and watched as a familiar pink colored light surrounded Penelope.

She gradually felt the burning sensation in her body fade. The marks gradually slowed down but still lingered on her arms. 'As expected of my former master.'

”Now then.” Penelope's lips curve to a smile. ”Since you feel slightly better. Why don't you explain which young man marked you?”

Lyn blinked before she realized what she talked about. She placed her hand on her neck but that only made Penelope more suspicious.

”It's okay Lyn, you can tell me everything.”

Year 4015 Mist Kingdom

A deep sigh crossed her lips as she walked down the hallway. 'That person hasn't changed at all.' While the spell made her feel better, she obviously felt drained. But Lady Penelope wouldn't let her get any rest until she got all the details.

Lyn didn't even know if what she said was enough. Allen said they would have an audience with her formally today. But, she still felt very drained. As Lyn approached the meeting place, she spotted somebody by the door.

Her eyes widened when she saw who it was. Lyn immediately rushed over. He must have heard her approaching footsteps, since he immediately caught her.

”Lyn.”

”You didn't come back last--” Lyn paused when she saw something. His entire arm covered in bandages.

'He got hurt...for me..'

Rhys cupped her cheeks. ”Don't cry, it's stupid.”

”Then I'm sorry for being stupid.”

He bent down and kissed her. ”Nnnngh.” A tremor ran down her body as he pried her mouth open. ”Rhys, Rhys. .”

”Be a good girl, otherwise I'll punish you like this.”

”Rhys, I get it..please..”

'Please what? Stop?' That is a foolish request. He won't stop until she is tired and out of breath. Rhys continued to kiss her with passion. Soon her legs and entire body felt like it would give out. She wrapped her arms around his neck so she could remain standing.

”Lyn, you're gorgeous.”

”So this is the man you were trying to protect.” A familiar voice said.

Lyn immediately froze. 'Oh no…'

Rhys sensed her discomfort and frowned. ”Is this how you treat your pupils? Lady Penelope.”

”I wondered which man would touch a disciple of mine. Of course it's you Rhys.”

”It's been awhile.”

Lyn blinked when she heard those words. 'These two know each other?'
