Chapter 404 - Drop of Blue Ink Part 1 (1/2)

Since they delayed the examination, Lyn did some side studying for awhile. Returning after what happened with Allen to the manor made Lyn feel restless. So she had to keep her mind occupied.

”Well... That, I used that formula a little while ago...…” Lyn deeply sighed. As she dropped her pen, all of these problems are due tomorrow. That math teacher gave us difficult problems. It's not as though she couldn't solve them. Because this is something, she could solve rather quickly. But only if she used her natural ability.

Yes, what she's finding difficult now is how to solve this the normal way. It's a complicated problem after all….how do people with regular levels get this kind of question wrong? The brunette sighs, she supposed this is her fault for missing all those days now. To think she would suddenly start regretting it.

Her thoughts broke of hearing a voice mumble in her ear, ”Hmm...What is this?...”

The source of the voice belonged to none other than Rhys. Lyn couldn't hide her shock seeing him. What on earth is he doing here? Or rather Lyn has not seen him in so long, so she felt a bit overwhelmed.

”Wahh, Rhys?!!”

”You're so noisy. That loud voice...” Rhys said, in his usual monotone, as he let's out a small yawn. After what happened earlier, Lyn didn't know what to think. However, he is speaking to her, usually right now...

”Anyone would be surprised if they weren't aware of someone behind them!”

Usually, that's the case. But between her and Rhys, there is a 'connection.'

So him sneaking up from behind her is impossible. They're connected with each other, that's why….she should have noticed. As she thought, something really must have happened after the battle.

”Since you were groaning and further distorting your ugly face, I wanted to do something,” Rhys commented.

Hey !!! How can he say something so cruel lightly… She looked away from him then, ”I'm busy with these problems. So if you have something you want to do here then please hurry up,” Lyn sighed. Forget it, there is no use getting worked up. Isn't it fine to brush him aside for now?

”Oh, really. I came here because I wanted to sleep.”

”Wanted to sleep? Please sleep in your room..”

”I don't want to. My room is a mess now.”

Lyn looked at him skeptically, thinking he was lying until she recalled what the General had told her about renovating the room plans — but not being able to start due to the mess. A deep sigh crossed her lips; she hasn't dealt with this person in so long.
