Chapter 321 - Mystery of Junlan Church P1 (2/2)

”Attending a conference with Princess Lethia.”

At that comment her gaze dimmed, ”Why does Kazuya have to be with my sister?”

”Because he's the ambassador?”

”But..”

Rhys sighed, ”You don't want to spend some time with me?”

”Well, I do I guess.”

”Damn you,” Rhys mumbled. ”Eat your food quick, and rest up.”

”Rhys, what's wrong with me anyway?”

Rhys doesn't say a word but Lyn noticed his gaze flickering towards the mark on her hand. The Snow Kingdom King made the mark revert back to her hand only. But sometimes it would act up. So it's to do with this again. ”Call Arthur here? I'm bored.”

”Tsk,” Rhys mumbled. ”Why can't it just be us two?”

”Rhys, are those reports. Can I read them?”

”You really can't stay put. Fine, take a look.”

Lyn nodded happily and reached out for his bag. It was half opened and the reports were sticking out, she pulled the doc.u.ments out and spread them out on the bed.

”Let's see...”

[Classified]

She immediately puts the doc.u.ments down. ”You didn't tell me this was classified information.”

Rhys looked over, ”You didn't ask,” he trailed off. ”Change your mind?”

”Is it fine for me to read this?”

”Well, there's no use hiding things from you anymore. It's about the mysterious people who acted as hero's the last time, you'll definetly be interested.”

Those people? Lyn turned to the papers she had scattered about. Attached to those reports were pictures, she picked the one up on the right and examined it. ”This,” Lyn tapped her fingers, ”..wasn't this place the residence you stayed at when you first came here?”

”I'm surprised you remember that, turn to the next page.”

”And this is the place where we first met.”

Rhys nodded, ”It's pecuilar. There are loads of places from the time we met here. At first I thought it was a coincidence, but then,” Rhys brought out a map. ”If you look at it this way, Junlan church is in the middle of all these sights.”

”The church?” Lyn mumbled.

”Yeah, it's at the heart of everything.”

”Now that I think about it. The master at the monastery mentioned something to me before. A place of peace will become the core of conflict...” Lyn trailed off. Perhaps the master knew this would happen, and that's why he didn't allow her out?

Lyn always assumed that she wasn't let out because of the instructions brother left. But now she is starting to think so otherwise, ”Did he know?”

Rhys sighed, ”He told me before not to get involved with you. He insisted it was for our own good if we didn't meet,” he looked over at the map with a frown. ”The places we met became the sights for conflict, that is not a coincidence. Lyn, tell me what you think.”
