Chapter 308 - Forever (2/2)

”You should have told me,” Lyn mumbled. If she knew Kazuya would come here, she wouldn't have to worry.

”My bad, are you angry, Lyn?”

”Very. But I'm glad in a way; I can remain sane if I know you're here.”

”Yeah, I know.” Kazuya pushes her to the nearby wall and gently cups her cheeks. He brushed his lips against her ear, ”Sane, huh?”

”Kazuya?”

Kazuya gently kissed her cheeks and ears before drawing back. That didn't stop Kazuya from looking at her. Lyn was unsure of what to do. So many people have been staring at her since earlier. But, it's only when this person stares at her does she lose her calm.

”What is it, Kazuya?” Kazuya doesn't answer and continues to stare. Lyn glances around before saying, ”Um, if you want to kiss me. ..you can.”

”Stupid. What on earth are you saying?”

”I'm wrong? I thought you wanted to kiss me. I mean it's okay if you don't, but I wouldn't mind it if you did it either.” Lyn said.

Kazuya nodded, ”Gee, what's with you being able to say stuff like that so easily? You, you seemed to be in low spirits. So I wanted to take a closer look at what you that's what it was,” he admitted.

Lyn looked at Kazuya gently, and he looks away embarrassed. ”You must have thought that because you're always mindful of my feelings. So you think those things needlessly.”

”You think so. . .?”

”Yes, because your very kind Kazuya,” Lyn knew from the look in his eyes that he wanted to refute the words. But she would not let him; she genuinely believes that. A person who has shed so much blood - and yet if he really is a bad person. She wouldn't be able to feel such warmth whenever he holds her.

”On second thoughts, Lyn, let's kiss for a bit.”

”En okay.”

..

'Hey brother, what does forever mean?'

'It means something much further than the end of the world.'

After reluctantly parting ways with Kazuya, she searched for Allen. But, when she found him, he was occupied, so she left. Now then, what does she do? Maybe she should have brought Pupillam here. She's bored.

Lyn halted when she saw him. It was her brother; he was sitting idly in the corner of the room. Surprisingly enough, people weren't approaching him. After speaking with Rhys regarding Arthur. She recalls those bitter feelings from the past. It was only natural. What her brother did was not wrong. Her eldest brother may be cruel, but he would not harm people who do not harm him. If she didn't know Arthur and heard the story from an outside point of view, she would have thought the same too.
