Chapter 247 - I was just feeding you (1/2)

Following day Year 4014 Mist Kingdom - Manor (Mountain Region)

”Say, Rhys, where's Kazuya?”

Rhys froze at the girl's words, 'Damn,' he doesn't have an excuse for this at all. He dropped the spoon in his hands. Since the previous day, Rhys decided he would take care of her until she recovered. It's not like anybody else, but him could do it.

”Allen hasn't come to see me either…”

Pupillam coughed, ”The Prince...is dealing with uh the banquet since you can't attend Princess.”

”Ah, they are still holding it? I guess I didn't need to come here.”

Rhys sweat fell. Indeed it surprised him too. Wasn't this banquet and the purpose of coming here introducing Lyn? Or at least letting more people see her? But, they went ahead and held the party without her. Rhys shook his head, ”Finish your food,” he held out the spoon towards her, ”Open up.”

Lyn's cheeks colored, ”I--I told you, Pupillam can do this.” Right, unfortunately, he was not alone with Lyn. He looked over at the auburn colored haired guard who stood silently by the window. He almost forgot she was there.

Pupillam nodded, ”Right, give it to me!”

Rhys rolled his eyes, ”Lady Pupillam, didn't you get hurt speeding back to the harbor, causing you to miss the last boat?”

”That was a mistake! Somebody tripped me.”

”Well, you failed,” Rhys turned to Lyn, ”Open your mouth.”

Lyn stubbornly closed her mouth and looked away. 'How annoying,' Rhys sighed. She hasn't eaten since yesterday though. It would be bad for her to continue this way. Rhys took the spoon and brought to his mouth before he reached over and pulled the girl into his arms. It was a battle of dominance which the girl easily lost.

Rhys had to admit that he liked this situation a lot. He loved it whenever she got embarrassed or shy around him. She may not be as innocent in terms of fighting. But she is still naive when it came to things like this. She may have slept with Kazuya; however, Lyn is still pure. He continued applying more and more pressure and explored the girl's mouth thoroughly. The contents of the food he ate, had vanished moments ago - their salvias mixed together.

The entire time Lyn was squirming and trying to break free. But after a while, she eventually gave up her futile struggle. After a few minutes, Rhys drew back, ”There, I made you eat.”

Lyn looked at him, dumbfounded for a moment. Her whole face had turned bright red, and she quickly hid it with her hands.

”Don't get embarrassed; I was just feeding you,” Rhys picked up a piece of meat and ate it.

At that comment, Lyn finally spoke up - but he used this chance to get her lips again. Since she's acting so stubborn about eating, all he can do is make her eat through this method. He can have a taste of her in the process too — two birds with one stone.

Rhys could feel the intense aura from a particular guard who was in the room. But, Rhys knew she couldn't attack with her injuries. He ran his hand through Lyn's hair.

He only stops because Lyn starts coughing, ”R--Rhys, y--you idiot!!!” she exclaimed.

”Thank you very much for giving me food,” he parted their lips. ”Don't be so stubborn, how can you get better if you don't eat?”

Lyn looked down, ”I'm sorry, I just don't have the appetite… Do you not know where Kazuya is?”

”He's hunting down the people who triggered your condition,” Rhys admitted. He might as well say it. It's not like anything changes if she knows or not.

”I see.”

”Usually you would say you'd go after him.”

Lyn laughed, ”I'm not that stubborn,” she trailed off. ”I just wanted to know where he is. Even if he is in a dangerous place, at least I'm aware of his location. Knowing where he is, is better than not knowing.”
