Chapter 106 - The Men Who Love her (2/2)

The war...

”Wait-wait hold on, this is all so sudden,” Lyn exclaimed. Though Lyn knew she would eventually have to go to the Wind Kingdom and pay a visit because she would have to prepare herself to live there.

”That maybe so. But put yourself in my shoes. I have been waiting for this entire time, and I shall wait no longer,”

At that, she was speechless.

He's completely hopeless; he won't listen to reason at this stage. Once he's made his mind up, he's going to stick through it to the very end from the looks of it. Lyn took a deep breath, ”I haven't seen you in awhile, but it seems you haven't changed at all,” Really, he's still the same, ”You only think about yourself and you don't listen to what other people have to say...and....” she trailed off when she saw his tender gaze.

This is the first time Allen has looked at her like this.

He then pulled her closer, ”Perhaps your feelings are still confused and puzzled. But as long as you feel something for me, I will take my chances. Your hesitant feelings, I have known about them for a long time.”

Lyn blushed, she didn't know what to say. All she could do was nod dumbly, her feelings? Allen knew about them? So why did he not say a word until now? Isn't it already too late?

Rhys, who had remained silent the whole time, could no longer take it and before Lyn knew it he lifted her off the ground, ”Ah? Wait, Rhys!”

”Excuse me for a moment, Princess.”

”Wait a moment, what do you think you're doing?” the last thing Lyn expected was for him to throw her down on his bed and close the door behind him.

”I think you're pushing your luck with me.”

”Wait. What?”

”I mean, you have to be doing this deliberately, messing around like this,” Rhys muttered as he got on top of her, ”You know I like you, and yet you flirt around with outsiders. What do you expect me to think?”

”For one, I am not yours, and two Allen isn't an outsider,” Lyn shot back. While there are times where she gets all weak and act like an idiot in front of Rhys, this isn't one of those, ”Unhand me right now.”

Rhys, however, didn't budge an inch, and she felt his gaze on hers. Before Rhys could do anything though, somebody shoved Rhys away and lifted her to her feet. Lyn's eyes widened when she saw who it was. It was the person who had been missing for the last two days. There stood her boyfriend, Kazuya.

Lyn wasn't quite sure what happened. One minute she was scolding Kazuya for neglecting to leave her his contact information the last time they met, and the next she found herself firmly in his warm embrace, his lips hovered over hers. She knew that she should probably be upset about this development. After all, the last time they saw each other was that time and while she did need time to think. Lyn didn't think he would completely vanish for three days.

Once the initial surprise wore off, Lyn relaxed against him and melted into his stronghold. Her arms found their way to his shoulders as she embraced him back. Her lips parted briefly, which allowed him to prod her tongue with his, leading her in the kiss.
