Chapter 56 - Like a puzzle (2/2)
”Say, Rhys? Who was that woman?” Lyn asked.
”Nobody.”
Ah-huh, and yet he slept with her? Lyn doesn't understand this man's logic. Pupillam referred to Rhys as a womanizer - somebody who sleeps around with other women for their own gain - somebody who discards women like toys. But Rhys doesn't mistreat her. Sure he can be a spartan during training, however, ”He's a kind person,” Lyn muttered under breath.
”What did you say?”
”Nothing.”
If he isn't a bad person, she wonders why people misunderstand him so much. Maybe it's because he's a womanizer? Lyn didn't understand that stuff very well. But she wonders if Rhys has a reason for his ways.

Training Grounds Princess Lyn's Quarters (Following Morning)
”Your aim is terrible.”
Her eyed twitched in annoyance. Rhys doesn't have to be so blunt about it. Lyn felt exhausted due to yesterdays events, and yet Rhys still dragged her off to training. She only just got back and wanted to rest more when he knocked on her door.
Lyn deeply sighed. When it comes to training, this man is a devil in disguise. She tried to ignore him and try again. Lyn tightened her grip on the bow and pulled, but the arrow flew off the course and landed in the bushes. A frustrated sigh passed her lips; why is this so difficult? Is it because she doesn't have any strength?
She really was terrible at it, and it didn't help how Rhys kept shaking his head every so often. Lyn pouted, isn't he supposed to be teaching? Or rather if he's acting so arrogant about it, ”Then you try it,” Lyn challenged.
The bow isn't a weapon that people often used. So Lyn felt Rhys was acting too arrogant. He's way too full of himself. He's probably not good at it too. She confidently handed it over to him.
His lips curve to a smile, as he adjusted the bow, ”Should I be glad that you're so naive Princess? I guess it will be easier to trick you.”
Ah? What does he mean?
”Stand there and watch, Lyn.”
Lyn watched as he got into position, she had to look away when the sleeves of his kimono top slid up, revealing his muscular arms. But she only looked away for a moment, Lyn's eyes widened when she saw a rare concentrated expression on his face. His whole demeanor screamed 'relaxed,' and yet, there appeared to be a serious look in his eyes. Rhys let go of the arrow, and it flew across the area and hit the middle of the round board.
”Bull's eye, how's that Princess?” Rhys wore a c.o.c.ky grin on his face as he walked back over.
Lyn stared at him in awe; she completely forgot about his arrogant attitude. She rushed up to him and grabbed hold of his hands, ”You have to teach me!”
If she could learn how to shoot the bow like Rhys just did. Then she is sure she could help Kazuya in some way.
