He thought that if Master Yang were to be the one who'll look after Yu Mei, she'll be fixed and talking soon. All of White Bird's secrets will come out of this woman. He had sacrificed thousands of his resources, money and men just to bust this one out of White Bird's nest.

”But, won't that make her condition worsen?”

A sadistic smirked made its way on Master Yang's thin lips. ”Her body already became dependent on the drug, that if not given, she will die.” He nonchalantly elucidated. She Gu sucked in a sharp breath and stare at the body of Yu Mei in disbelief.

”What drug was it?” He asked.

”Black Egg.” Everyone inside the lab, except She Liu, had their breath hitched.

'Black Egg? You've got to be kidding me!'

Black Egg is a frightening drug that's both powerful and dangerous. To think that this woman has been intaking this drug for a long time, it's certain that her captor really hated her guts. She Gu can safely admit that White Bird may be the most ruthless and merciless person he've ever encountered.
