Chapter 49 - 49: Lillie, Being Lustful (1/2)
(Warning: Slight mature content. Here's a 'little' treat for you, my dear readers ❤️)
In a room where there was a huge, long table, sat the White Bird Organizations' Elders as well as White Bird herself.
Sitting at the center with a throne-like chair, with her mere presence, the air surrounding the room was not much different from the mafia movies we watched.
White Phoenix Empire's board of directors are now in their form as White Bird Org's Elders, wearing the mask that makes the Underworld identify them as such.
”Boss, here are the information you seek from Red Dragon.” Lan Wu Cheng/Red Raven pushed the files towards her.
”Good.” She said and gave it to Elliot.
”Boss, the moles we placed on Red Dragon's turf came back with news.” Song Mo Kun/Silent Death said.
Lillie gestured for him to continue.
”They overheard that Red Dragon is trying on 'stealing' a powerful magnate's company by bribing or blackmailing their board of directors into giving them their shares.”
”What company?”
”Hong Long.”
'BLAG'
Lillie's fist roughly smacked the wooden table. Even though the others didn't flinched or shown any fear, they still felt shiver run down their spine, as their usually calm and cold Boss' aura turned incredibly menacing.
Her pupils dilated and her red eyes glowed, her fists were trembling in fury.

Tranquil Villa was unusually quiet, Ethan thought when he entered. The lights were on and the servants were doing their duties as usual but, Ethan could not help but notice that they are 'extra' careful on not making too much noises.
Storm was also acting strange. He used to go around the villa, roaming around the place because gets bored easily. But, right now, he stood stiffly in front of the home bar's door.
Ethan knew that Lillie's back, so she must be inside the bar. However, he wondered why Storm wasn't inside to accompany his Mistress?
Perhaps, she's in a very bad mood?
Storm's head lifted and his ears perked in alarm. His Mistress was indeed in a terrible mood that is why he stood outside, not letting anyone enter, especially 'him'. Blocking the door with his body, Storm growled in warning.
Seeing that he will not bulge from his place, Ethan turned around and left him alone. Question marks appeared on top of Storm's head.
'Huh? How strange...why isn't he fighting?'
Storm failed to notice that the door he would always pass by was actually another door through the bar. So, turning to another hallway, Ethan stopped at the bar's second door.
Turning the knob gently and pushing the door open, Ethan heard a soft, classical music playing. The lights were dim, it took Ethan a few seconds for his eyes to adjust and look for Lillie.
Upon entering the home bar, Ethan saw Lillie lying on the couch. He saw four empty bottles of scotch, plus one with half of its content finished, lying on the ground. Her right hand which holds the glass was hanging on the side while her left arm was covering her eyes.
