Gin POV-

I realised a big issue after having the first group of drow sent to us. The shear amount of conversions that I have to do is ridiculous. In a weeks time after the meeting with their race's leaders, I had converted thousands but, that barely made a dent in the overall population. Their population in just this pocket reaches up to a million. After I move out further it will become a major obstacle in conversions.

I met with the queen again to see if she had any idea of what to do, which she did. It turns out that the Union has an artifact that can amplify the radius of spells. It could potentially help with this.... That is, if the conversion of drow is considered a spell....

Anyways, it seems that the Drow Theocracy and the Black Iron Pyre are also planning to attack the union which is in my favor. Their country was weakened due to the Drow leading that legendary creature into their country. Many of their forces died fending it off. It eventually left and settled in one of their dungeons. Now what to do.....

I have not left this forest at all. I want to explore the other areas of this pocket but, I feel that I am too weak. That probably won't change unless I have another arachnid guardian that is focused towards defense.... On top of that I have to take care of this kid now..... Ten? Was that her name? She is a pain as she needs to be fed. I only realized how weird it is to not need to consume things. Kess is the only that eats and that is due to her own gluttony, not because she needs to.

Luckily I have Xelu here whose webbing is perfect for Ten. Not only does she drink the blood from the webbing, she eats the flesh that grows off of it. At first, I had a horrible feeling that what happened to Vulki would repeat itself here. However it seems that she is immune those effects. Most likely due to being an immortal race..... She has grown on me a little but, I 'will' keep my guard up.

While waiting for the war I decided to have Inival and Drun instruct me in combat. I am basically a poison mage that has talent in stealth. So while Drun and his subordinates that are proficient in poison magic teach me, I have Inival instruct me when it comes to countering people. Most of my opponents so far have been rather unintelligent or, have been a good degree weaker than me.

When I wasn't converting drow during that week I had them teaching me. Thanks to that my poison magic has increased by leaps along with several physical skills have gone up. I am very close to reaching level 15 as well so, this upcoming war should have a lot of benefits.
