Well. This ring is quite a devious item. Who knows what is to happen. The system seems to not like it. Alien entity..... Is it the ring?..... Or something else?.... Should I remove it? Can I remove it? Nope. Well I guess I can't really do anything?

Technically, I could chop my finger off and have Set heal it later.... While I was focusing on these oddities, I failed to notice what was happening to the drow in front of me. That was until the orange glow that had enveloped them started humming.

Kess crashed down from above. She had a pocket built above to come down instantly in an emergency. The others should be coming in soon. I prepare to cast a couple poison lances if need be as I slide over to Kess.

The glow faded away to reveal....? They are quite different. Skin color changed from an ash grey to an odd red. A dull red.... Their eyes are shining like rubies. A spider tattoo seems to wrap their necks which are no longer being held hostage. Where did Kess' spiderlings go?....

The trio kneel and lower their heads. Other than their racial characteristics changing, I notice another oddity. Inival's scars are healed and, Madam Farblight's size went down quite a bit. If she weighed 400 kilograms before, then she probably is only 200 now. Drun hasn't really changed. A little bit taller I guess.

I try to look at their statuses but, unlike with my summons, only name, race, and level is shown.
