1 Otherworldly Reincarnation (2/2)
He found out that he has a game like a system, and it was like any ordinary normal system, with no typical advanced A.I or anything special of the sought. Even his store was blacked out, and the necessary requirement to unlocked it was to officially become a spirit Master, by absorbing his first spirit ring from a spirit beast. He must kill it himself, single-handedly.
With his memories retained, Ao Si Ka knew of the actual storyline and plot, but he didn't completely rely on it. As a matter of fact, he knew about the butterfly effect, and how it would impact on the story, as it may deviate it from the norm.
Ao Si Ka had a few girls he liked in the original novel, some were likable characters, others, unfortunately, suffered a terrible ending. While the others are left forgotten, never to be mention again, deemed not important and played an uncongenial role to the actual plot by the author of the story. In the end, Ao Si Ka deeply sighs, in disappointment.
Ao Si Ka slept on the streets in the slum neighbourhood, in the midst of the cold windy night. His muddled six years old, child size body, shivers against the cold. As he hugged his legs, curved into a ball, to preserve heat.
In his first day, after arriving in the world of Douluo Dalu, Ao Si Ka was still very ignorant of the world; the pain and hunger of starvation, he experienced it first hand, and felt it in his stomach, after coming to this world. Almost to the point of degrading...
He didn't realized until now, that Ao Si Ka was an orphan, living in the backstreets of the slums.
Ao Si Ka didn't know whether his parents truly abandoned him, alive, or even that they all have died in an accident. Everything remains a mystery. It was never explained in the novel. But one thing, he knew for sure, is that Ao Si Ka was of common birth; not born of royalty, nor a rich noble family or background.
If it weren't for the facts that this world, still have kind and generous people, he would have been long dead by now. Die of starvation, etc.
Fortunately, enough his combat spirit is a food auxiliary system type, sausage. It is enough to sustain his body, keeping himself a bit well fed, replenishing depending on his internal storage of spirit power available, but not enough to prevent malnutrition.
When he first have taken notice of his status, Ao Si Ka was in for a complete surprise. As he realised that he has innate full spirit power. Nevertheless, he possesses the twin spirit essence as well. Who knew.
Ao Si Ka scrunched his eyebrows, in puzzlement, he said. ”Why a kitchen knife though. Does it somehow have to be related to his food theme, auxiliary type system though?” He shrugged it off, and left the slum area, to head to the Outer regions of the Star Dou forest.
As he walk pass, exiting through the city gates, his gaze met the armed guard's line of sight. There was no sign of hostility, they didn't instigate any sort of action, or precaution in advance. Seeing the little six year old orphan child as not a threat, or even a need and sense to be wary of.
One of the armed city guard's, by the side, look at Ao Si Ka attire, dirt untidy, with a deep sense of pity. He lightly said, in a cold tone. ”Get lost kid...” As he reluctantly shoo the boy away, not wanting to get involved himself, with an orphan child. As he already have enough people to feed, on his low income salary.
He intended to get a 100-year yellow spirit ring for his first spirit. As it would alleviate his cultivation to the next level. Allowing him to enter the first step into realms of the Spirit Master world.
So Ao Si Ka took his first step into the Star Dou forest by himself, aware of the dangers of the spirit beast, as he summoned the ordinary looking kitchen knife. Clutching it tightly in his grasp, in a ready stabbing position, like he was holding a dagger, instead of a normal chopping knife. That said, that doesn't mean that he isn't afraid of getting killed, but rather it is necessary for himself to advance further to become a Spirit Master. Otherwise, he would be considered ordinary, weak, and worthless, like any other homeless hobo saw living in the slums. How pitiful...
Soon as he went deeper into the forest. Carefully, trudging with extreme caution, as he listens in to the sounds of his surroundings. The movements of the wind, the leaves rustling, footsteps, and so on. In order to identify potential enemies.
As he slowly proceeds with caution, Ao Si Ka was, fortunately, lucky enough to be able to encounter a weak looking plant type spirit beasts in the yellow 200-years range.
Ao Si Ka encountered a Grass Leaf Warrior, which was in the 240-year range. It was a plant type spirit beast, with a humanoid body type. Its body is made up entirely of vines, and plentiful of leaves, irradiating translucent blue veins, melded together into the shape of a human, with massive thick arms like a warrior. Its height is roughly around a meter, with its lower body torso, resembling numerous roots, takes to the ground, embeded into the soil, like an actual plant.
