Chapter 97 - Evening Kiss (1/2)

Yu Huiyin and Xu Nanfeng spent the entire day observing the amount of downloads, the amount of transactions, and the online trend. They also looked at how far people got in the game, and they were quite impressed and ecstatic.

When the night fell over the mansion, Xu Nanfeng finally wrested his eyes away from the screen. He packed up his laptop and got ready to leave.

”Little Yin, I am going to leave now. I am going to spend the rest of the night observing the statistics, and then I will give you an update tomorrow.”

Yu Huiyin nodded her head and led Xu Nanfeng out of the mansion. Here, he went into his own car and drove away; there was some happiness in his heart.

He was so happy to have a friend like Yu Huiyin. Someone who dared to take a gamble on him, and now he felt accomplished because it had been successful.

As Xu Nanfeng left, Yu Huiyin slumped back in the chair she had been sitting in. She was exhausted.

Seeing her slumped back, Xie Jingyu knew that she did not have much energy.

He went and made a cup of tea which he then gave to her, and proceeded to sit down next to her.

”Dearest, let's go to sleep,” he said gently, and Yu Huiyin nodded her head, but she was too exhausted to even move a muscle. Although she had not done much during the day, she had been hyped up about the game launch, and now that things had ended successfully, she was so relieved that her body just lost all energy.

Xie Jingyu looked at her pitifully, he could see that she was unable to move, and he sighed after which he shook his head.

He then stood up, walked to her side, and leaned down. He swept her into his arms and started carrying her towards the bedroom.

Yu Huiyin was shocked by the sudden movements, and her arms automatically wrapped themselves around Xie Jingyu's neck. Feeling her arms around his neck, a smile flitted across his lips.

When they reached the bedroom, Xie Jingyu gently lowered her onto the bed. However, although he had put her down, Yu Huiyin did not release his neck. Instead, a teasing expression could be found on her face.

Seeing her like this, like a cat who just got the cream, indulgence filled Xie Jingyu's eyes, and he lowered his head and pressed his lips against Yu Huiyin's.

Yu Huiyin's eyes widened in shock. She had not expected that he would suddenly kiss her, but the tender feeling of their lips against each other was so comfortable.
