As the working day came to an end, Xie Jingyu led Yu Huiyin out of the office. Many of the office workers had already finished for the day, and the time was close to nine.

They had not eaten dinner yet, but their lunch was big, so neither of them had felt hungry.

They returned directly to the manor, where they got the chef to cook some light congee. It was not healthy to get a substantial meal after the lunch they had eaten.

Afterward, they went to wash up and change their clothes, after which they worked on their own things, before finally going to sleep.

The following day was much like the previous, but around noon Assistant Song came to pick up Yu Huiyin.

Yu Huiyin was puzzled. The gathering was not before evening; it would start at half-past five, so why was she already in a need to leave?

But she soon found out that things were not as simple as she thought. She was taken to a wellness center, where she was given a full spa treatment.

This treatment took a few hours, and when she finished, it was already half-past three in the afternoon.

They now had two hours left before it was time for the evening gathering to begin, and they went to pick up the dress that Xie Jingyu had commissioned for her.

The dress was made specifically for her; it had a plunging neckline, showing off her beautiful neck, it was long, but a slit was on the side of the dress, allowing her to show off her leg as she walked.

The dress was dark blue at the bottom but turned lighter and lighter the further up it got.

Crystals were embellishing the dress, making it sparkle in the light.

She was also wearing a crystal necklace and earrings, alongside a bracelet.

Her feet were wearing a pair of stilettos of the same color as the dress. The back of the shoes had a big bow, and crystals were also adorning the shoes.

She was given a very natural makeup, as she was so beautiful that she did not need much to highlight her innate beauty.

A hair-stylist also appeared to fix her waist-long hair. By the time the clock turned five, Xie Jingyu arrived to pick her up. He was amazingly attractive, wearing a suit in the same dark blue color that was on Yu Huiyin's dress. He was so dashing that Yu Huiyin could not help but smile and feel honored to go to a gathering with him.

The gathering was being held at Jiyi Jiudian, the most upscale restaurant in the entire city. Not only was it a restaurant, but it was also a bar, an entertainment hub, and a place where one could hold their events.
