Chapter 30 - Picking Up Yu Feihong (1/2)

Assistant Song could not help but wipe the sweat off his forehead. He knew that he could not tell this old man that Yu Huiyin had been tricked into marriage.

He understood quite well that the old man's favorable impression of Xie Jingyu would go entirely down the drain if he said anything like that, so he kept quiet.

”Miss Yu is currently unaware of our boss' pursuit,” Assistant Song said hesitatingly, ”I understand that you are her grandfather, but please don't tell her about this, I hope that he can pursue her in peace without being declined before he even has the chance to confess.”

Saying this, Assistant Song was somewhat nervous. If the old man started doubting his words, it would be bad, but he couldn't have him talking to Yu Huiyin about it either.

Old Man Han was incredibly clever, and he could guess that not everything was as Assistant Song said. Even so, he was sure that ninety percent was right, so his worries were laid down, and he felt much calmer.

”Don't worry; I will leave it to the youngsters to deal with their own romantic encounters. Although I am not particularly interested in a rich grandson-in-law, I am not opposed to it as long as my dearest Huiyin is being treated well.”

Assistant Song heaved a heavy sigh of relief and nodded his head. ”Our boss will definitely treat her well. He is not a frivolous type, there have never been women around him before, and he is as pure as snow. He is young and handsome; he is the ideal partner. Although Miss Yu hasn't completely understood his pursuit yet, she holds a very favorable opinion of my boss.”

Old Man Han was quite satisfied after hearing the words of Assistant Han. Although he knew that things were not so simple, it was not too bad, as long as she had accepted it and was doing nothing that was questioning her morals.

While Old Man Han and Assistant Song were busy chatting with one another, Yu Huiyin was standing outside the gate of the high school.

There was a steady stream of people going in and out, all of them looking curiously at Yu Huiyin. She was so attractive that anywhere she went, she would be able to attract attention.

Even the two guards, who were guarding the gate, came to her side to ask what her purpose was. When they were told that she was waiting for her younger brother, they no longer bothered her.

Although there was a small stream of people, when the bells rang, the little stream turned to a big flood of people. Even though Yu Huiyin looked all around, she could not see her brother, and she could not help but frown.

It was not before the flood had turned to low tide, that she spotted her brother walking towards the gates. He had his head buried in a book and his brows were furrowed as if he had encountered a significant problem.
