Chapter 25 - Getting Ready to Slap Faces (1/2)

The young master who had just arrived paled noticeably when he heard how the sales guide was rebuking Yu Huiyin and Assistant Song.

Looking at the woman, he could see her looking completely unperturbed as if she had been treated even worse by others, but Assistant Song was having a hard time holding back his anger.

Upon noticing the vein that was popping out on Assistant Song's forehead, the young master was filled with horror, and he hurried to their side.

”So it is Assistant Song who has graced us with his presence,” he said, making himself seem humble.

”It is our shop's utmost honor to have such esteemed guests as yourself in our store, what can I possibly do for you?”

Assistant Song was about to answer when Yu Huiyin raised her hand and cut him off. It was not a very polite gesture, but Assistant Song already admired her greatly, so he did not mind and took a step back in respect.

The way he was acting caused the eyes of the young master to bulge out in shock and fear. Who was this horrifying being who could command Assistant Song so easily?

”Young master, there seems to be a misunderstanding. We were merely customers who are being chased out of the store; how could we possibly be considered honored guests?”

Hearing her words, the flattering face of the young man turned solemn, and he suddenly understood what was going on.

”Miss, please don't take this to heart,” he said as his palms were sweating. If he made this woman unhappy, he could forget everything about getting a favor from Xie Jingyu; he might even get himself killed or bankrupt instead.

”These servants had eyes but could not see. I apologize on their behalf. The ones who insulted you will instantly be fired. Please do not let such unimportant figures pollute your mood, tell me instead what I can do for you.”

Assistant Song was still unhappy with their treatment, but he looked to Yu Huiyin. She was the one who called the shots, so he could not do anything else than listen to her.

”I need to rent a flat. It only requires two bedrooms, one sitting room, one kitchen, and a bathroom. I want it to be decently renovated, and I am willing to pay five thousand yuan a month.

”Unfortunately, it seems that it is impossible for me to find a place like that within this store, as all the residences that you rent out cost ten thousand yuan or more.”

The young man felt like cursing when he heard this. Yes, the store itself focused on high-end rentals, but they had access to the lower rent ones, too, as long as they accessed the shared database.
