”He's been giving me a lot of mission related to any of the Riccis movements.” In every information that he acquired, he is quite fascinated by how the Ricci family do what they always do.

”He trusts you a lot. You sure are one lucky brat.” Now Zack understands. It is not like Arion doesn't want Leon to be part of their current mission, Arion is putting Leon on a very important job. Keeping an eye on their number one enemy, the Ricci family.

”Lucky? How is keeping track of the Ricci family is lucky?” From the way Zack said it, it seems to him that he just got complimented. But it does not feel right for Loen. By going after the Ricci family's tail is like a death wish.

If only Leon has a choice, he wouldn't be doing this job and be a part of the organization's current problem instead.

”It's not, but you are lucky that Arion will always have your back whenever you are in trouble.” Zack's first meeting with Arion was not good, but it was not bad either. Their interaction with each other was neutral.

To others who saw them joking around back then, might have thought that they clicked right away, but they were wrong. There was a line between the two of them, a line that says that they do not trust each other.

It took them years to fully trust each other, which is why Zack is surprised and amazed that Leon already has what he could not get so easily years ago.

”I'm sorry to interrupt your conversation, but I'm quite curious about this Ricci family you guys keep talking about. What kind of people are they?” Lannie wanted to keep it for herself, but lately, she keeps hearing the Ricci family for a while now. So she wants to satisfy her curiosity.

”They are the main culprit for Mary's sadness. They are the type of people you should not be involved with no matter. Most importantly, they are a group of people who have no right to keep on living in this world.” Anger was vivid in Zack's tone, and Lannie shivered just by hearing those words from him.

She did not expect that the Ricci have this much effect on Zack. Lannie initially believed that Zack is only going against the Ricci family because of Mary and Arion, but obviously, she is wrong.

'I wonder what those people did to him.' She inwardly asked.

”Lannie, why are you suddenly asking about them?” Base on the information that he got, Leon found out that Lannie's father was once associated with the Ricci family closely years ago. Lannie should not have any problem in knowing more about those people from her father. ”And if you want to know more about them, you should ask your father.”

”I was just curious, and I did ask my father, but he doesn't want to talk about it.”

”I understand why your father wants you to not know about them. Knowing a lot could put you in danger, but knowing something about them could be helpful for you. It might help you find a way to avoid them when you see a member of the family.” Zack was once in the same position as Stan back then. He doesn't want Zen to know about the Ricci family because they are dangerous.

However, it was impossible for him to hide everything from his son because his son wants to be part of his dangerous life in the underground. If Zen wanted to enter his world, then he has to let Zen know all about the enemies that might be lurking to get him, and that would include the Ricci family.

”You know what I think about Anna's father? I think the reason why he is so against my brother and Anna's relationship is that he doesn't want my brother to get involved in the danger that the Coleman family is currently having.” It might have been just speculation for Lannie, but she strongly believes that is the case.

”Heh. And here I thought that you will hate everyone who is against Anna and Kyle's relationship.” Leon said with a smile. He never thought of it that way. Leon has always believed that the reason why Arion is so against it is because of being an overly protective father. The thought of other possibilities has never crossed his mind.

”Oh, I will hate everyone. But I guess Anna's father is an exception.”

”How nice of you to say that. You should say that to Kyle so that he can have more confidence in making my boss give in.” Leon suggested.
