Chapter 515 - Revenge 516: Im Not Like You (1/2)
”Excuse you?! I heard that! Aaron, you don't have any idea how angry I am today, so please, don't make me even angrier than I am right now.”
”I don't care if you're angry or not. All I care about is that my sister to leave my room if she's going to talk to you!” As Aaron is saying that, he glared at Anna. He can't believe that his sister is torturing him like this.
'How come she's home already? I thought that she's with Kyle for the whole rest of the day?' Aaron inwardly asked. With Lucia and Ophius are out of this place, he thought that no one will bother him anymore. But to believe that his sister thinks the opposite of what he wants, his alone time has been ruined.
”Brother, just let me stay here.” She said with a smile plastered on her face. ”Besides, I overheard that our mother will be looking for us both later. So I might as well stick to you so that they don't have to for us separately.”
”From whom did you ever hear that?” Aaron asked.
”Grandfather was talking over the phone, and I overheard him talking. So yeah, that's how I know.” On her way to her room, Anna heard her grandfather talking. She wasn't the type to eavesdrop on people's conversation, but when she heard hers and her brother's name, she became curious. However, she didn't get the full details of why their names were being mentioned.
Aaron simply stared at his sister and did not say a word. Though it sounded like a made-up story, there is part of him that believes that it's true. The reason for him not to accept it right away is because they did a mission recently, and that mission didn't exactly go as they had planned. If their mother is searching them both at the same, it's highly likely that she will assign them for a new mission.
'I'm willing to do it, but it way too soon for another one. That's not how my mother works.' He inwardly said. Somehow he has a bad feeling about this.
”Hey, you two. You haven't forgotten about me, right?” While the two Colemans were talking, Lannie is still on the line listening to their conversation. Being ignored while she's venting out is not exactly what she had in mind.
”Oh, Lannie. We forgot that you're still there.” Aaron commented as if it's nothing, and Lannie interpreted it that he is making fun of her.
”Sorry about that, Lannie. I was just explaining to my brother why I'm invading his room.” Anna sincerely apologized. ”Now, let's go back to our original topic. You were angry at Veronica, right? What did she do this time?”
After a few minutes of telling Anna everything that had happened, Lannie felt great. She got everything out of her chest. ”That's what happened. Now, will you please go and teach that shameless girl a lesson?”
Lannie would like to do it herself, but her mother and father strictly told her that she is not allowed to anything to Veronica. 'It's not like I'm gonna kill her, why am I not allowed to at least reveal one of her dirty secrets? Urgh.'
”Lannie, I wouldn't do that, and even if I wanted to, I still wouldn't do it. I'm not gonna waste my time on such childish pranks.” Anna sighed at the request Lannie is saying to her.
It's clear to her that Veronica has problems, and dealing with her will only cause headaches. Though, she knows that she should not lower her guard when it comes to that person. Who knows what she's capable of.
”Are you being serious, Anna? Like really serious?”
”Yes. Anna is serious, Lannie. Besides, my sister is already busy as it is. Family problems, you know?” Aaron has little knowledge about Veronica Lace, but he can tell from Lannie's tone that Veronica is terrible news. But he knows that his sister can handle that kind of woman. ”If you really teach her a lesson, then you should ask someone else.”
Lannie was silent for a minute, then unexpectedly said, ”You're right, Aaron! I could ask Nathalia! Thank you!” As soon as she finished saying that, she ended the call.
”Hey, wait!” Aaron grabbed the phone, but it was already too late. ”I can't believe that she's going to ask Nathalia instead! What is she thinking?!”
”Well, you did say that he should find someone else, and apparently she thought of your beloved.”
”Why does it have to be her? I'm sure she knows a lot of people in her social circle?”
