”What did you just say?!”

”Master, the mafia family we had an alliance with is gone. Someone has taken them down, even the police have no idea who is responsible for killing all those people.” The butler who was in charge of making sure that the alliance between two mafia families intact is now reporting to his master that the existence of the alliance is no more.

”Nobody survived?” Ask the other person in the room.

”Only one, the head of that mafia family.” Truthfully speaking, the butler doesn't like this person who is with his master most of the time. Although he knew that his master's intention with this person is to use him, there is this feeling that he can't erase.

”They let him leave and kill everyone else? That's a surprise. Normally, if your gonna take down a mafia family, the head of that family should be killed too, right?”

The butler mocked this person's remark. It's obvious why they let the head of the family live. It is to send a message. He can't believe that such a simple thing can't be immediately recognized by this person.

The butler wants to express his thoughts, but he can't. His master wouldn't like it.

”In some cases, yes, killing the leader is the best way to take down a certain organization. But in this matter, the person or people who are responsible are sending a message to us or to someone else.” The butler slowly explained, but this guy's expression seems like he is still confused.

'How is it that you're still alive in this world if you're that stupid?' The butler inwardly said.

”A message? What kind of message?”

The butler is about to say a word, but his master interrupter him. ”Seriously, James? Are that f.u.c.k.i.n.g stupid? Those people are practically saying that they are coming for us, that includes you, you moron!”

James Coleman is a highly educated guy, and yet in this matter, he is way too stupid and annoying. Every time that James opens his mouth about something stupid, it gets him annoyed. Now he is starting to question why did he even invite James to associate with him in the first place.

Startled by the man in front of him, James wasn't able to say a word back. It's the first time that someone told him that he is stupid face to face.

This is the first time that he is associating himself with the head of a mafia family, how should he know about how they do things. Sure, he manages to associate himself with people like the man named Johan, but this matter and that matter is different.

”I-I'm sorry. I'm new to all this, I-”

The man in front of him fiercely glared at him. He wasn't able to finish his sentence. ”Whether you are new or not, that kind of thing should have been easy for you to know.”

Seeing that his master is about to lose his control, the butler stepped in and said, ”Master, I think it's best for you to calm down first. Should I prepare your tea?”

With his master losing his control, his master won't able to know how to fix the problem they have now. It's a good thing that he knows how to calm his master.

”Yes, and bring it to my office. I'm going to calm myself there!” After saying that he stood up and left the room. He can't stand being in the same room with James at the moment. He's afraid that one more word from James' mouth, he might actually kill the guy.

'James still has some use, I'll kill him after he has done his job.'

The butler stared at James and said, ”You know, if you don't know anything at all, I suggest for you to shut your mouth and just listen to my master.” Soon after, the butler left the room. He doesn't even feel bad for saying that to James. In fact, he thinks that James deserves it.

James thinks of himself too high and this kind of treatment is new to him. Although it is new, the feeling of it is not what he wanted. He wanted to be respected, but it seems like both the butler and the man he is associating him is looking down at him way too much.
