Chapter 506 - Revenge 507: The Lovey-Dovey Couple (1/2)

”You came at this time when Anna is still in bed. How dare you disturbed her morning.”

”Ah. I know I'm at fault for coming at this time of the day, but can you really blame me? I just missed Anna so much that I came right away.”

Kyle's words made both Aaron and Ophius cringe to the point that they want to go back to their beds and forget about what just happened.

”Smooth words, but you're only good at that aren't you?” Usually, she would react the same way as the other guys, but right now, she is too irritated by Kyle that all she can think about is how to defeat Kyle in this round.

”You're wrong. I'm good at many things, and I can still be good at other things I try them. Anything to Anna's liking, I would be my privilege to try and be good at it.” Kyle smirked. There is no way he will back down so easily. He would rather die than to declare that Lucia won against him.

”Oh, really now? You sound so confident to the point it makes me want to push you to your limit and watch you die from exhaustion.” She is also a confident person at the things that she is good at, but Kyle's confidence is on a whole new level. And it irritates her.

”Die? I won't die from a challenge that came from you.” In other words, Kyle is saying that Lucia is too easy and the challenges she might come up with are also easy to deal with.

”I can't believe that this happening right now.” Ophius sat at the opposite side of where Kyle is sitting at while he watched them bicker.

Though, he is somewhat thankful for Lucia and Kyle right now, because of them he momentarily forgot that he will have to face the punishment Mary has decided for them.

'I might as well enjoy watching them bicker while I can.' He inwardly said.

”Just let them be, and let my sister handle this.” Before he started to realize his feelings for Nathalia, Aaron and Nathalia have been bickering all the same, and his sister was always the one trying to stop them. With Kyle and Lucia acting like him and Nathalia, he is sure that his sister can handle it easily.

”Hey,” Ophius started, ”Is your parent gonna be okay with this?” Kyle came without any notice, in some situations, any parents would think that it's rude for a guy to suddenly visits their daughter at this time of the day. The Coleman couple can be okay with anything, but it's their daughter that's involved in this, so Ophius wonders if they see Kyle, will they be okay with it?

”My mother is fine with it, I mean she would love for Kyle to stay at this mansion forever. But as for my father, well, let's just say, he currently doesn't like Kyle's existence.” Now that Aaron is thinking about it, he suddenly felt sorry for Kyle when his father sees him.

”So you're saying that there's going to be a show when your father comes walking in right now?” Ophius is curious about what kind of interaction Kyle and Arion will show to them when they see each other.

”Yes, and just by listening to you, I'm guessing that you're expecting it to happen?”

”I just want to see what kind of person your father is when he is facing Anna's boyfriend. Anyone who knows your father will get curious.” Everyone at the organization knows the cold-hearted Arion Coleman, but what they don't know is what kind of a man he is when he is in front of his family.

Everyone is curious and wanted to find out, because of that curiosity, there is a lot of guesses and rumors floating around. Ophius, on the other hand, doesn't know what to believe in and had decided that he would like to see it with his own eyes.

”Hmmm... my father's that popular, huh,” Aaron muttered, and Ophius managed to hear that.

”You say that as if you can't believe that he's that popular in both outside and inside of the underworld.” At the same time, Ophius has this certain feeling that Aaron is very distant towards Arion. He wanted to ask if that is the case, but he is afraid that if he asks that, he might be crossing the line.

”I do know that he's popular, but it's just hard to believe it. He's very different from the person that you guys know of.” Aaron only saw his father's cold and frightening side a couple of times, but he still has no idea who's the person is. The person that he knows is a doting parent and husband. That is the side that he always saw on his father's face.

”The person that I know of, is just a face that your father shows to the people who are his enemies and subordinates. Sometimes, we all have to show the other side of us to protect ourselves and the ones that we love.” Ophius have no idea if what he said was right, but he is expressing his true thoughts.
