Chapter 496 - Revenge 497: Skipping Classes (1/2)

”You guys look so tired. Didn't get enough sleep?”

That question that just came out of Aaron's mouth made Nathalia, Zen, and Josh glared at him furiously. They can't that after what happened yesterday, he has the audacity to ask such a question to them.

”Are you being serious right now, Aaron?” Josh asked. He looks at Aaron up and down, and he can't see any signs that say that Aaron is in the same state as them. Once Mary and the others are back, Josh will personally meet up with Mary and asked is she could separate the twins from them during training.

The reason for this is because they are not on the same level as them, and it's hard to be in the same room and doing the same thing with the twins if it is so easy on them. It's making feel useless, in which he is definitely not.

Anna sighed, then she said to Aaron, ”Brother, just shut your mouth for the whole please.” She has no idea if Aaron is asking that to annoy them or what, but whatever it is, it's better for him to shut his mouth until they get home.

”You know what, I'm going to my class, I think I'm going to take my time and sleep while class is not starting yet,” Zen said, then he left. He didn't want to hear more out of Aaron's mouth. He might say something that will cause rumors about him if he does.

He usually goes to the basketball court here in school just to pass time, but now, he has no energy and his body is too sore for that. Heck, he might not be able to participate in their practice later. 'What am I gonna do? There's an upcoming game next week.'

Soon after, Josh decided to follow Zen. The ones who are left behind are the twins and Nathalia.

Aaron is about to open his mouth and engage a conversation with Nathalia, but she glared at him and said, ”Don't talk to me for now. My mood is not exactly good today, and I'm afraid that if you say one word to me, I might say something that will make you sad.” After saying that, she turn around and left the twins behind.

”Hmmm, I thought you're courting her. Why aren't you trying to lift up her mood?” Since it is her brother, Anna is confident that her brother will easily lift Nathalia's mood despite what she said. But looking at the person in front of her it seems like he has no intention of doing so.

'What's the point of declaring that you'll court her if you're not gonna do anything, brother?' Anna inwardly asked.

”Anna, I would like to. I really do, but she looked like she's really in a bad mood and I'm not dumb enough to confront her in that state.” Aaron is not exactly sure what he had said or what he had done wrong, but he is sure that Nathalia is in that state because of him.

The better way for her to cool off is if he leaves her alone for a little while. He doesn't want to risk her getting angrier at him.

Hearing that, Anna stared at him for a minute, and have nothing to say. What he said is reasonable, but it's not enough to convince her. But then again, her brother and Nathalia's business, whatever they do it's up to them, and she is only here when they need her.

All of a sudden, Aaron's phone vibrated. He took a look at him, and a smirk appeared on his face. Curiosity hit Anna, so she asked, ”You got that look on your face, so tell me, what is it?”

”It's Lucia...” Anna's head tilted when she heard that name, she felt like it has been a while since she last heard of her. ”She's inviting us to go on a mission today, like right now.” In other words, Lucia is telling them if the twins want to skip school and go for a dangerous adventure with Lucia.

Of course, without even thinking about it, Aaron has already decided that he will go with Lucia to have some fun.

”Do you want to go or not?” He asked. Whether Anna will come or not, he will still go. He will definitely get himself in trouble if either of his parents or his grandfather knows about it, but he will go. There is no one here that can stop, even if it is Anna.

”Sure. I'll go. It's been a while. Besides, there is nothing much to do here in school anyway.” Not too long ago, the principal of that school told everyone that most teachers might not be able to teach and will have a substitute to give the students some work. For what reason? Anna has no idea. She didn't listen to the whole Anna announcement.

”That was unexpected, but I love the answer.” He smiled and lead Anna to where they can sneak out of the school.
