Chapter 487 - Revenge 488: Zack, Who Loves To Complain (1/2)

”We have to cross-reference all these? This is a lot of work.” Zack groaned in irritation. He thought that the work Arion is assigning him to do would be easy. But he never would have imagined that it will turn out like this.

”Stop complaining, Zack. That's not even helping us one bit.” Mike said. He joined Alfonso and Zack because someone told him to help them. But he didn't expect this to happen to him. This is not what he had in mind in helping them.

”It would have been easier if Leonardo is here. This task is not suited for someone like me. Leonardo could have done this for a few minutes. ” What irritates Zack the most is the fact that Leonardo is not around to do this job.

Leonardo is the right man to be in the position that he is right now. Yet, Leonardo was the first one to volunteer to start the training for the young ones.

It was such a surprise to them the Leonardo was willing to do it first. Although it surprised them, they were also surprised at the fact that there was an evil smirk on his face.

It looks to them that Leonardo was planning something. And there is also a part of them that feels bad at Leonardo's new victim.

”Zack, if you had stopped complaining from the very beginning of this task, you guys would be relaxing by now. But no, you decided to keep on complaining. Now, whose fault is that?” In the middle of Zack's complaints, Zack and the others heard Mary's voice from behind.

”Yeah. What she said.” Alfonso said to Zack. From the time Arion tasked them with this assignment and the time now, it has been almost three hours. And the work they have done so far is not so good.

”Oh, please. Don't even say that. You were complaining too, you know?!” Zack said with a frown plastered on his face. It is true that all he did so far is complain about this and that. But, he is not the only one who kept on complaining.

”I admit. I'm not going to deny that. But, when I did that, when I was complaining, I did it while working. I mean look at everything that I got so far, do you actually think that you have the right to compare my work to yours?” Like most of the time, Alfonso spoke in his normal sassy way towards Zack.

Listening to that, Mary scoffed. 'How can he be so proud of himself when looking at the work that he had done so far is not enough worthy to say: 'It's enough'.' She said in her mind.

Mary sighed hearing all the back and forth talk between Alfonso and Zack. Her work hours at the office have ended like thirty minutes ago. As a good person that she is, she decided to check on her friends. Who would have known that the moment stepped in, she expected that their task is already done. But she should have told herself that expect the unexpected.

'There are three people that are working on this task. Why is it that the progress is like this? Is this some kind of a joke these three are trying to play on me?' Mary groaned in annoyance. She wanted to believe that it is only a joke. But seeing that faces that Zack and Alfonso are making right now is enough to say it is now a joke.

”Move aside, people. Let me do this.” She said, then she shoves Zack out of her way. All she wanted was to go home and relax. Her reason for coming here was to check on her friends, but she got another reason for coming. One of her reason is that she wanted to have a peace of mind later before going to bed.

She doesn't want to think about this task before going to bed because it will only give her headaches. Since her 'helpful' friends didn't manage to make a clear dent, she decided to do it for them. At least this way, she will have a bit of a peaceful mind.

'That husband of mine. He knows that these three are not as skillful in computers as Leonardo is, so why is it that he let them work on this? He's wasting time for everyone!' Currently, in Mary's mind, she is imagining of torturing her husband, then throwing him out of their bed.

Her husband has only one job on this matter, and that would be putting the right person for this specific task. All her friends have things that they are very good at.

Zack is the muscle man of the group. Alfonso is the one who handles negotiations. Mike is the one who invents things that they need for every mission they go to. And Leonardo, he handles computers. Leonardo is much better at computers than her.

While Mary is doing the task that the three of them should have done, Mike asked a question. ”Mary, do you know what kind of training Leonardo has planned for the kids?”

He may not show it, but everyone knows that Mike worried about his kid, Josh. Thinking about what kind of experiences Josh is facing while Leonardo is the trainer, Mike is starting to get worried.
