”Kid, if you're not gonna say a word, then please, leave. I would rather spend my time with my friends than you, who is clearly wasting both of our precious time.”

Just Arion is about to open the door for Kyle to leave, he halted on doing that when he heard what the young man just said. ”I'm dating your daughter. She and I are officially dating.”

While Arion is processing the information that he just got, Kyle, on the other hand, is currently cursing at himself. He said those words in a hurry and the way he said it made it sound like he has no confidence.

'That was so bad! Why did you have to say it like that?!'

Arion took a deep breath before saying a word. He needs to calm himself down first because if he doesn't, he might choke Kyle to death. ”Can you repeat that for me again. I think I might have misheard you.”

Arion is obviously hinting Kyle. He wants Kyle to say that it was only a joke. He genuinely wants Kyle to say that. But the other part of him is telling him that he should wake up. He knew that this is going to happen someday and that he should be ready for it.

However, no matter how many times he says that to himself. It would always shock him.

With confidence this time, Kyle gave his reply to Arion. ”No. You heard it loud and clear. And I am not just here to tell you that.”

”What else is there for you to say?” Arion doesn't like it when Kyle is acting like this. From his point fo view, it seems like Kyle is getting bolder and bolder at each word that he is saying. If only Kyle used that boldness of his to some other reason, Arion might have like Kyle even for just a little bit. But it's not the case, his daughter is involved in a most shocking way.

”Apart from my family who knew about my relationship with Anna, you are the first one to know. And before I share this relationship, I would like to have your blessing to continue seeing Anna without worrying about your getting in the way.” Kyle is already at the point where there is no turning back now. His only way right now is to say everything that he wants to say to Arion today.

”My blessing? You're asking for my blessing when you're already in a relationship with my daughter? Shouldn't you have done that in the first place?” It's nice that there are still some people in the world who would still ask the parents' blessings, it's admirable. But Arion just can't appreciate this. It is all so sudden.

”I did have that in mind, but I changed my mind. I was getting impatient.” Arion is surprised by Kyle's honesty. He did not expect that answer at all. He thought that Kyle would answer in a more logical way, but what he got is full honesty.

This side of Kyle is reminding him of how he was back when he was at Kyle's age. He was so honest to the point that Harrison almost killed him for it. Now he understands why Mary always tells him not to be too honest in front of Harrison.

'Why do I feel like it's my turn now to have a headache about this matter? Old man Harrison, I'm so sorry about everything that I did to you in the past.' Arion inwardly said.

”Wow. You're annoying.” Arion spoke with a straight expression plastered on his face. ”You're honest. In some way, I like that. However, I am not going to give you my blessing.”

Expecting that kind of answer from Arion, Kyle smiled. ”It's alright. I already expected that I won't be getting your blessing right away. Besides, I intend to work hard to get it.”

Now that Kyle has achieved his goal for today, it is time for him to leave. Staying at this place much longer could only mean is that his time of death probability is increasing. Even if Arion is not saying it, he can tell that Arion is holding himself back greatly.

While Arion is giving him this much mercy, Kyle will gladly leave.

”Well then, I will see you when I see you, Mr. Coleman,” Kyle said, then he left the room.

After Kyle left, Arion reached out at the vase near him, then he threw it across the room just to release some of his anger. ”Interesting. You're so interesting, Kyle. Let's what kind of fun will I have with you.”
