”Leo, you are the one who wanted to talk about this in the first place. So spit it out. What did Mike found on that thing?” For Leonardo to act like this, Mary can only guess that it must be because of their Master's health. And if that is the case, then she badly wants to know about it.

She just got Harrison back, and something bad is already happening without her knowing? Leonardo and Mike know how much she cares about Harrison, and if they are keeping secrets from her about Harrison's health, then it will take a while for her to forgive them.

”It seems that by putting the device inside the person's body can release a slow-reacting poison through the person's bloodstream.” Except for Leonardo and MIke, everyone around them is so shocked of they just heard. That is a reply that they didn't expect to hear.

”What?! Why didn't the two of you say a word about it?!” Alfonso angrily asked. Out of all things that Leonardo and Mike could have hidden, this might be the worst of all the worst that they have done.

”We wanted to, but when we confronted old man Harrison about it, he didn't want us to tell anyone, not even to his wife,” Mike said. He is quite ashamed that he has to hide such a secret from everyone, especially to Mary. After finding out about the poison, Mike is not even sure how he should face Mary because of the guilt inside of him.

”So, you're saying that he knew about it?” Arion asked. A little while ago he was starting to feel guilty for letting Harrison put that device on the inside of his body, but now that he is hearing this, his guilt is now replaced by anger.

If Harrison truly has an idea that there was such a risk of putting that device on his body and still insisted on putting it, then Arion will confront him about it. Arion wants to know the reason why Harrison is taking that kind of risk just to get any information that they could get from that place.

'Seriously, what is wrong with that old man? Why did he even insist on having that piece of garbage inside his body?' Arion inwardly asked.

”Most likely so...” From the way Arion looks right now, it convinced Leonardo that Arion truly has no idea about it. And if he had known about the secret behind the device, then Arion would have stopped Harrison, and finds another way to get their information.

”Mike...” Mary called out his name. ”Did you find anything else out of the ordinary on that device?” Mike is an inventor himself, and most inventors that she knows love to leave their mark on every invention that they make. Most likely, in this case, the one who invented that tiny device left his or her mark on it.

'If there is one, then there is a chance for us to find that person. He could be useful for the organization someday.' Mary inwardly said.

”Well, apart from the poison that I found, there is nothing else. But to make sure that I didn't miss a thing, I will double-check.” Because he was so excited about learning how the device works, Mike didn't properly pay too much attention to every small detail in the device.

After that, silence fell on them. They all have different opinions about the matter, but they all have one thing in common. They are all worried about Harrison.

”Quick question,” Alfonso suddenly said. ”For how long did that device was on his body?” Since it is a slow-reacting poison, there might be a chance for them to find a cure for Harrison. However, it all depends on how did the device was on his body, which is quite worrisome because Alfonso has this feeling that it was on his body for way too long.

Arion didn't reply and only have this pained look on his face. That expression of his is enough to know how long the poison was flowing in Harrison's bloodstream.

”Did the two of you found a way to cure him?” Mary asked. It's been months since Leonardo and Mike have found out about the poison, surely they have given Harrison the cure for it, right?

”We have the cure for the poison, and every day we tried to give the cure to him, but he always rejects it,” Leonardo said. Thinking about the attempts that he made just to have Harrison drink the cure is getting on his nerves because all of his attempts ended up as a failure.

Even Mike was rejected, so they both are getting worried day by day about Harrison.

”Why would he reject that? What is wrong with him?!” Mary is holding back her feelings, but after hearing what Leonardo just said, she can't help but be emotional right now. Is her father figure trying to kill himself? If so, then what is his reason for doing that? Is he that tired of living now?
