Chapter 476 - Revenge 477: I Am Surprised (1/2)

”It seems like Mom saved your ass back there,” Arion said while he and his sister are headed towards their room.

”Yesh. No thanks to you though. You're the worst.” She said in a grumpy tone.

Since their mother is scolding their father, the twins took that chance and slipped away. It's already late at night, they don't want to spend it watching both of their parents like that.

”But seriously, Anna, nothing really happened?” Although Kyle is gentleman towards his sister and all, he is quite sure that Kyle would take advantage of the fact that he and his sister were at the place where no one will be able to recognize them.

”Something did happen. But since your my brother, I think it would be alright to tell you as long as you promise to keep your mouth shut.” Ever since she started this second chance of hers, she decided to get close to her brother and doesn't want to keep any secrets from him, except for her second life, of course.

The one person that she trusts the most is her brother and no one else.

”Do tell,” Aaron is quite interested in hearing what kind of story will his sister tells him. However, if it is a story that Kyle on doing something to his sister without her permission, Aaron will forget about sleeping tonight and go straight away towards the Robertson mansion.

Anna let her brother enter her bedroom first before telling him everything. After doing that, she made sure that he is comfortable. With these little things that she is doing, it's making Aaron confused. She is only telling him a short story, so why is she doing these as if she is trying to calm him down?

After doing all that, Anna told everything to her brother, including the kiss also. The whole time, her brother was silent and his facial expression is unreadable. Seeing that look on his face is making Anna's nervous.

Did she make a mistake in telling this to her brother?

”Uhh... will you say something? I mean, your silence is making me nervous, Aaron.” Even after saying that, her brother is still in silence. Now, she is regretting telling Aaron about this new development between her and Kyle.

As she is about to take her phone and send a message to Kyle, her brother stopped her. ”Whatever it is you're about to do, I advice you to stop it right now.” His tone was so serious that Anna subconsciously stops. It has been a while since she heard this authoritative tone from her brother towards her.

The last time he used this on her was back on her past life. She was not sure why her brother was being like that to her, but it did scare her. Even now, it frightens her that her brother is like this towards her again.

”You're not saying anything. I don't like it. Should I have no told you about me and Kyle? If so, then I'm sorry for telling you, but I don't want to hide anything from you. You're my twin brother, of course, I will tell you this kind of stuff.” She said honestly. If her brother is angry at her that she got herself in a relationship with Kyle, then she is not sorry for that. For her, being in an official relationship with Kyle is making her happy.

”No. No. It's not like that. I'm just so surprised that I didn't know what kind of face I'm supposed to make.” He said while waving his hand around.

”I'm not convinced. You looked like you're angry at me.” Surprised? Is that what he is saying to her? She is not convinced at all. Who in the world would make that kind of expression if they were surprised? Who?

”It's true.” Aaron is telling her the truth. He already prepared himself for this because he knew that sooner or later they will be an official couple. It is just that he is surprised at himself. It seems like no matter how much he prepares for such an announcement, he will still not ready for it.

It would also seem like he is not ready to have his twin sister to be taken away just like his father.

Aaron glances at his sister, and her face is telling him that she doesn't believe a word that is coming out of his mouth. ”Look, whether you believe me or not, I am telling you that I was genuinely surprised.”
