Chapter 474 - Revenge 475: Right Here, Right Now (2/2)

The scene that she was talking about was the time when Crona and Leonardo where still dating. Leonardo is not the type to say cheesy lines, but when he does is makes Crona blush red. The way Nathalia is now is similar to Crona at that time.

Aaron smiled. He likes the atmosphere that is currently happening now. It makes him miss his family. Because of the problem his family is currently facing now, they never had the chance to bond with each other, and when they do, it's only for a short amount of time. It makes him mad at the people who are picking a fight with his family.

”Well, I am trying to win her,” Aaron said honestly, and that surprised Nathalia. She was expecting him to say the opposite of that, but him saying that is not a bad feeling. ”But I can't do that if uncle Leo does not approve of it.”

Aaron is confident that even without Leonardo's blessing he can still win Nathalia's heart. But the problem is that he doesn't want Nathalia to get stuck between him and her father. To Nathalia, her father is like a hero to her and because of that, he doesn't want to put her in a tough spot.

Now, Aaron understands why Kyle was working way too hard just to please him and his family for the sake of having a blessing to be Anna's long time partner. 'I respect you now, Kyle.' He inwardly said.

”Haha! I see. You want the father's approval, huh?” People who do these types of things do make Nathalia's grandmother happy. She is now starting to take a liking on this young man in front of her. ”But you do know that it's a hard challenge to overcome, right? After all, Nathalia is the only child of the Vendallin family, she's the most precious gem.”

It seems to Aaron that Nathalia's grandmother is trying to scare him off on the fact that there will be a lot of walls that he needed to overcome, and it is only going to tire him out in the end. But unfortunately for her, he is not going to back down just because of that.

He is a Coleman, and every Colemans in his family thrives to overcome any challenges that are going to get in their way. If he stops now because of what Nathalia's grandmother said to him, then he is not a Coleman and it is better for him to leave than put more shame in his family.

”Madam, since you know that Marcus Coleman and I are related to each other, I'm sure that you know that kind of statement is not going to work on me.” He said with a serious expression on his face.

That gleam in his eyes sparked her interest in Aaron more. She wants to see how serious he is. She wants to know what kind of advances will he make just to make sure that he will get to his goal. ”Is that so, then proved it to me. Right here, right now.” She said in a challenging tone.

Just as she said that Leonardo's timing in entering the room made things more interesting for all the people inside. Leonardo glances at them, then a big question mark popped in his mind. 'What happened here?'

Aaron's nervousness from before disappeared and is now replaced by such determination and such courage. Nathalia who noticed that change is now feeling nervous about what Aaron is about to do. As for Crona and her mother-in-law, they both are expectant of what is going to happen.

”What is going on here? Why are you all making such faces?” Leonardo asks as he puts down the food his mother told him to buy. He was only gone for half an hour, and so much has already happened?

From the looks of it, it seems like they were talking about something serious. And to his surprised, his mother is conversing with Aaron who is a stranger to her. 'She would normally not talk to strangers, so why is she talking to him?'

”Uncle Leo,” Aaron started. With just that, Nathalia was about to stop Aaron from speaking further, but her mother stopped her. ”I want to have your permission to court your daughter.” He said straightforwardly, and that made Leonardo almost tripped.

Leonardo glances at Aaron with a frown. ”Huh? Can you repeat that again? I think I just misheard you,” He said with a terrifying tone. His hearing is good and he heard it clearly, but there is a part him that wishes that he misheard what he said. And hopefully, Aaron would say that he was only joking.

”I know that you heard me loud and clear, but since you said that, I will gladly repeat what I just said to you.” Aaron looks so confident to the point that it's making Leonardo feel irritated. ”I want to have your permission to court your daughter.”
