Chapter 469 - Revenge 470: Black Eye (1/2)

”What is this?” Kyle finally said a word. Because of what is happening, it took minutes for Kyle to say a word. He didn't expect this kind of welcome from his family, and most of all, this is not what he wanted if he ever expects them to welcome him home.

”What do you mean 'what is this?'” Layla scoffed at her son's question. ”It's so obvious that we are celebrating your first ever relationship?” This kind of development with her son is something that is worth celebrating.

”Mom, I don't think that all of this is necessary,” Kyle said with a big sigh in the end. All he wants is for everyone to accept his relationship with Anna. He doesn't want this so-called celebration.

He gets that they are happy for him, but this does not suit him at all. He would rather accept their congratulations than this.

”What do you mean by that? Son, you don't understand it, do you? This is necessary! Don't ever think that it is not!” Stan said firmly. Ever since that his son started high school, he noticed that Kyle does not have any interest in the people around him, especially towards girls.

He was worried to the point that he sometimes arrange blind dates for Kyle. But unfortunately, all the dates that he sets for his son, ended up as a failure. Since then, he sometimes thinks that his son might not be interested in girls at all.

The movement that he heard that Kyle took an interest in Anna, he was so surprised and happy. Adding to the fact that Anna came from a good family and is a nice educated girl, Stan is more than happy to support Anna to become Kyle's partner.

Whenever he thinks about his son, he always prays to that Gods above that they should help Anna and Kyle to be together. After all the prayers that he has done, he is so happy that everything went to the way he wanted.

”Dad, I know that you are happy for me and all, but this is just too much.” Kyle can't even stand staying here anymore. He wants to walk out of the door and go to his apartment for tonight. But glancing at the butler behind him, he thinks that it's impossible for him to escape this hell. ”Grandfather, please say some sense to my mother and father.” He said looking straight at his grandfather, who is currently leisurely drinking tea.

”Why would I?” Kyle was surprised to hear that response from him. ”I also think that this is worth celebrating. I see no harm in it, Kyle.” Elijah added.

That response was something that Kyle is not expecting to hear, especially from his grandfather. Out of all people, his grandfather is actually agreeing to this kind of nonsense his father and mother pulled? What on earth is going on?!

”Brother, it's alright. Everyone in our family is happy that Anna is your girlfriend, and none of us is willing to forgive you if you ever break up with her.” Lannie straightforwardly said to Kyle. Anna is the only partner that she will recognize for her brother. And if her brother brings another girl other than, she will not forgive him.

Kyle only stared at his sister. He didn't even know what to say to that. His sister actually chooses another person than her own brother. 'What kind of a joke are they playing?' He inwardly asked.

”I'm tired. I going to my room now.” Since he is already speechless from what is happening, Kyle thinks that it is best for him to rest now before his fuse blows up.

”W-What? It's not time for you to do that-” Stand shouted, but Kyle already decided not to listen to any word they are going to say to him. They drained all of the energy he saved from earlier.

On Anna's side, she just got home. The first person that she saw the moment she entered the mansion was her brother with a black eye. She was so shocked at her brother's appearance that she screamed.

”Goodness! What on earth happened to you?” She was only gone for only a few days and yet, her brother is already like this? As far as she knows, her brother went with Nathalia to visit their uncle Leonardo's mother.

'What happened while I was gone?' She inwardly asked.

”I got punched by Nathalia's father.” He said. Though in his tone, he somewhat sounds like he is proud of the fact that he got punch.
