Chapter 467 - Revenge 468: Troublesome In The Near Future (1/2)

Anna waved her hands frantically when she heard that question from Alfonso, ”No, no, no. Aaron and I did think about that, but we didn't go along with it.” It was her who suggested to Aaron that they should go and investigate the Ricci family, but her brother didn't approve of the plan so they didn't make their move.

From the way Alfonso is asking her, she is thankful that she listened to her brother. She knew that the Ricci family has a big impact on her family, but she never that the impact would this great. Her uncle Alfonso's reaction is making her more curious about that family.

”That good. If you two had been snooping around to get information about those bastards, then it would be bad for all of us. Remember, what they really need is you and your brother. As for what reason, I am in no right to tell you that.” Alfonso said with full of seriousness in his tone. Since Alfonso rarely talks to her with this kind of tone, Anna understood that she should listen to the people who have already faced the Ricci family before.

After hearing all that from Anna and Alfonso, Kyle frowns. He got a feeling that there is some trouble going on within the Coleman family's organization, but he never thought that it would be this bad.

Now, he getting worried about what will happen to Anna. He wishes that he could just take Anna and put her somewhere safe, far away from any danger lurking around, but he knows that Anna will not accept it if he is going to do that.

She cares too much for her family and she is not willing to leave them just for her own sake. That part of hers is one of the many things that he likes about her.

”If there is going to be a war between the Colemans and the Riccis, are you and your friends going to take part in it, Uncle?” Kyle asked out of curiosity. From what he is hearing so far, he thinks that the feud is only happening between the Coleman family and the Ricci family. Other than that, his uncle and his uncle's friends have nothing to do with it.

”Yes, of course.”

”There is no doubt about that.”

Both Alfonso and Mike said at the same time. They didn't even hesitate on answering his question. From the very moment they became close to Mary, they already swore that they will always be by her side, even if the path is dangerous.

No matter what kind of persuasion other people might throw at them, they will never betray or leave Mary all alone. Their loyalty towards her is unbreakable.

”How about the Robertsons?” Kyle asked again and Alfonso fell in silence for seconds.

His question was unexpected. He knew what kind of point Kyle is trying to get at, but he is unable to answer Kyle straightforwardly.

”Kyle, I know that you care, and most likely you might want to talk about this to your parents, but it's not worth it. Your family and Anna's family never swore an alliance to each other, that means what you are thinking is not possible to happen.” Mike replied instead of Alfonso. He is now taking a liking to Kyle.

Kyle is a bold young man, he is willing to go that far just for Anna, but that effort is just going to be a waste since when it comes to going against the Ricci family.

Kyle frowns at Mike's answer, then he said, ”How would you know? Did my grandfather or my father say something about that?” All he wants is to aid Anna and her family against that Ricci family. What does Mike mean about what he just said?

”Neither of them said anything, however, both of them are not stupid to just aid the Coleman family against the Ricci family just because of your affection towards Anna. Both of them know what kind of a foe the Ricci family is.” Mike coldly said to Kyle. He wants to tell Kyle straightforwardly that everything that he does should not be all about Anna. Sometimes, he just has to think without concerning his feelings.

”If you want to go that far, involving the Robertson family, then you should become the head of the Robertson family. Everything that you say will be absolute, no one will dare to go against that hasty decision of yours.” Alfonso said.

Alfonso hit the right spot on Kyle. He wants Kyle to understand that he can't get whatever he wants, even if he is the son of the current head of the family.
