Looking at how calm and compose Anna and Kyle are, May is stunned. It seems to her that Anna and Kyle are used to these kinds of situations. Starting right now, she is starting to doubt Anna and Kyle's true personalities.

”Anna, don't feel bad for her. She doesn't deserve it.” Alfonso said. Knowing Catherine, Alfonso is sure that Catherine is going to involve his son. The reason for him carrying his son all day is because of that. He is making sure that Alexandre won't leave his sight even for a moment. ”So tell me, Jason, what is she planning this time?” Alfonso asked.

”Well, she is going to reveal a photo of Alexandre's mother and what happened between you and her.” As Jason was saying this, he was actually nervous because he knows that his boss doesn't like talking about Alexandre's mother.

When he found out how things happened between his boss and Alexandre's mother, he was shocked that it happened because of alcohol. If this kind of private past were to reveal today, it might affect his boss's career.

People will accuse his boss of taking advantage of Alexandre's mother.

Hearing that, May's heart pounded. Catherine's scheme is to reveal Alexandre's mother, and somehow there is a part of her that wants Catherine to succeed in this scheme. And when she realized what she was thinking, she almost slaps herself for being selfish.

'How could I think of that?! I'm so despicable!' She inwardly scolded herself.

”Is that so? Then let her be.” Alfonso's reply shocked May and Jason. They did not expect him to give an answer like that. They thought that Alfonso will do anything to keep that as a secret. For what reason is he letting Catherine go with this scheme?

”I'm sorry for asking this, but why? I-if we let her be, then it could affect your career, Sir.” He has not yet been working under Alfonso for a long time, but he knew that Alfonso is a good boss and he could a lot of things from him. He is not about to let anyone ruin his boss's life just like that.

”Alfonso, what are you thinking?” May strongly agree with Jason, if Alfonso lets Catherine do whatever she wants, Alfonso has a lot of people poking their noses into his business. And with those kinds of people it could affect Alexandre's life.

”You two don't need to worry about anything at all. Just focus on what you two are supposed to be doing now. I've got it handled.” Alfonso ordered them that they should do what they are told to do, but they were hesitant to follow his orders, but in the end, Alfonso managed to shoo them off.

After they left his sight, he took out his phone and called his dearest sister's phone. ”What do you want?” Said the person on the other end.

”Dear sister...” Kyle heard that and his interest suddenly turned towards the conversation between his uncle and mother. ”You're not yet rusty in your skill in hacking, right?” Alfonso asked.

Back on their younger days, Layla got interested in hacking, and because of that she managed to force Leonardo to teach her about hacking. At first, Alfonso thought that it was useless for his sister to learn that skill, but now, it seems like he a different opinion about it.

”Of course not! From time to time, my dear husbands ask me to do some things to keep my skill refresh.” Although she is not getting missions like she used to, she is glad that she is still able to use one of her skills because of her husband. ”Why are you asking me that anyway? Is there someone you want to bring down to the mud?” Layla asked in a mischievous tone.

”Oh, my dear sister. I'm not gonna bring her there. I'm going to bring her lower than that. To hell. She messed with the wrong person.” Listening to every word that Alfonso just said, it sends shivers down to Layla's spine.

It has been so long since she heard that menacing tone from her brother. She really has to thank that person who made her brother be like this.

With a laugh, Layla replied, ”What did this person do to you, my dearest brother?”

Although Kyle and Anna can't hear the other person on the phone, they can tell that the conversation they are having is up to no good. ”I never thought that your mother and uncle Alfonso can act like this together, they sound so... evil,” Anna commented.

”I think so too.” Kyle could not help but agree to what Anna just said.
