Chapter 453 - Revenge 454: Because Of Her Jealousy (1/2)

”Catherine, I don't wanna say this, but are you sure that you should be doing this?” Allisa asked in a nervous tone. After hearing that plan Catherine has for Alfonso, Allisa's heart raced fast. She got a feeling that this plan is going to backfire on Catherine and she will get herself involved in the casualties.

”Allisa, what kind of a stupid question is that. Yes. I am sure that I want to do this. I deserve this and Alfonso doesn't. And if you don't want to ask aa stupid question, then don't ask. Geez!” Above all the things that she told Allisa, there is one thing that Catherine forgot to tell, and that is, if her plan fails, the one who will be getting all the blame is Allisa.

Allisa is not yet a popular model, and there will be no one who will miss her if she suddenly disappears from the modeling world.

Allisa had her mouth shut immediately. Allisa wanted to say to Catherine that this plan is not gonna work on Alfonso.

The way Alfonso was yesterday, Allisa can tell that Alfonso is a smart man. He can easily find a way to get himself out of the picture and have someone else take that horrible spot.

While preparing for the nearing start of the show, someone suddenly appeared behind them and said, ”Miss Rider! There you are.”

Catherine turned around and saw a very familiar face. Catherine's angered expression suddenly turned into a happy one. ”Sir Reid! It's very nice to see you here! How are you?”

This man in front of her is the man Catherine has idolized for a very long time, and she always has dreamed of standing on the same level as him. But since Alfonso is standing in her way, she can't achieve that dream of hers.

That is why hopefully today will be the day she will have that next step of her dreams.

”I am doing fine,” Reid said with a smile, then his eyes look around the place. It is as if he is searching for someone. ”Say, have you seen Alfonso anywhere? I have not seen him no matter where I search.”

The smile on Catherine's face almost broke when she heard the name she did not want to hear from Reid's mouth. With a heavy heart, Catherine responded, ”No. I have not yet seen him. Maybe he's gonna come late.”

”Come late? Well, he does like to do that. Always coming late. Heh. When will that guy change.” Reid is also one of the top famous designers in the world, but he didn't come to this event to participate in winning the award instead, he came to watch.

To be more precise, he came to see what kind of designs did Alfonso came up with this year. Unknown to anyone, Reid is a big fan of Alfonso's work. And whenever he sees Alfonso's new designs he is always in awe at its beauty.

Catherine awkwardly laughs when heard that from Reid. ”Well, if I see Alfonso, I'll tell him that you were looking for him.” Although she is saying this, she will, of course, not tell Alfonso that Reid was searching for him. She will do whatever is necessary for Alfonso and her idol to not meet each other. She hates seeing them talking.

”You do that for me? Thanks!” Reid smiled at her, then he bid his goodbye, saying that he is needed for an interview.

It was a short conversation, but Catherine was happy. 'Soon, I can spend more time with him.' She inwardly declared to herself.

While watching and listening to the conversation between Catherine and Reid, Allisa got a hunch that Catherine has a secret crush on Reid, but Reid, on the other hand, doesn't see Catherine that day. Though she feels bad for Catherine for having a one-sided crush on a person, Allisa didn't say a word.

She also got another hunch, she thinks that Catherine is doing all of this ridiculous plan because of the Reid. Knowing that the person Reid was searching for was Alfonso and not Catherine, she is sure that Catherine is jealous of that fact.

'All of this is because of her jealously? I can't believe this.' It might be true that Catherine is also doing this because she deserves that award, but the number one reason is probably because of jealousy.
