Chapter 443 - Revenge 444: I Cant Help It (1/2)

”Brother, what are you doing here early in the morning? Don't you have any classes today?” It was early in the morning, Lannie was the first one to get up and have breakfast in the dining room while Anna and Alfonso are getting ready for their flight. While she was eating someone from outside rang the bell, she initially decided to not pay any attention to it, but the ringing kept on going, so she has no choice but to open the door. And to her surprise, she saw her brother.

”I'm taking some days off. I already got permission.” Those were the only information that Kyle gave to his little sister, then entered the place. He looks around the house, and it's obvious to Lannie that her brother is looking for Anna. 'How typical of him. Can't he at least say good morning to me?'

Ignoring the fact that her brother did not greet her, Lannie instead asks him a question. ”What do you mean 'taking some days off'? Can't you at least explain that to me?” Her brother knew that she won't understand anything unless there is an explanation, and yet he is purposely telling her all of these without making sure that she understands.

Before Kyle can even have the chance to make things for Lannie, Alfonso from upstairs started to come down carrying the newly awake baby Alexandre in his arms. ”Kyle, you're here early. I thought I'm gonna see you at the airport today.”

Confusion is written all over Lannie's face, and slowly she is starting to understand what her uncle Alfonso is saying. ”Wait. He is coming to see your runway show and I am not? That is not fair!”

Lannie pouted. She helped her uncle Alfonso from time to time to make this show possible for him, and yet she is not even allowed to come and go with them. But instead, her brother, who did not help, can go just like that? How in the world is that even fair?

”You misunderstand, Lannie.” Alfonso calmly said to Lannie as he puts his son in a highchair. ”Your brother is coming with us without any purpose. He is helping me with my runway show. Just like Anna, he is going to be my male model.”

Everything that Alfonso did is planned. Since he could not find any male models to show off his designs, he thought of his nephew, Kyle. But he knows that his nephew will reject his request without even thinking of it, so in order for Kyle not to refuse him, he thought of Anna.

Once he got Anna on board, Kyle can come without any second thoughts.

Although it is wrong to use Anna to make Kyle become one of his models, Alfonso always did have in mind that Anna should be one of his models. But knowing that men around Anna, they are a bit overprotective of her and wouldn't even think about letting Anna be one of his models.

He was really lucky when Anna's brother even let Anna be one of his models.

”Boo!” Lannie can only pout at her uncle, how she wished to be able to come with them, but she has school and she would not want to miss out on any activities, especially that she is part of the student council.

Even if she would not mind missing out on her school activities, the only way she could come with them is to become on of her uncle Alfonso's models, and she does not want to be one. It is a big fat no.

While the three of them are having a conversation, they suddenly heard Anna groaning while taking a step down the stairs. It seems like she is having a hard time carrying her luggage down.

Without being asked, Kyle helped her out immediately. Anna was surprised too when someone took her luggage away from her and puts it down near the door. What really surprises her more is the fact that it was Kyle who helped her out.

With a happy look on her face, Anna exclaimed, ”Kyle! What are you doing here?”

Instead of Kyle answering Anna's question, Lannie spoke nonchalantly, ”He's here because he's coming with you guys. Apparently, uncle Alfonso also made him one of his models just like you.”

Now that Lannie is seeing her brother and Anna standing side by side together, she thought it is was not a bad idea to have both of them be her uncle Alfonso's models. Her Uncle's designs will surely amaze a lot of people if Anna and her brother were the ones to wear it.

Without a doubt in her mind, Lannie is sure that it is going to be her uncle Alfonso who is going to win that runway show.

”What?! Really? Uncle, why did say anything in the beginning?” For a while now, Anna has been worrying that she and Kyle never have enough time to spend together, and now, she is very thankful to her uncle Alfonso for giving the opportunity to spend more time with Kyle.

”It's my surprise to you. Consider it as my early Christmas gift to you.” Alfonso spoke with a warm smile on his face.
