Chapter 406 - Revenge 407: Stop Talking (1/2)

The driver was slightly surprised by what he just heard from Anna, but he still nodded. He didn't expect Anna to know that he has been reporting some things to Mary, and he is glad that Anna didn't get angry at him for that.

[An hour earlier]

”Hey, Aaron! What is wrong with you?! Can you stop pulling me around?!” Nathalia angrily demanded Aaron to release her. She can't understand why Aaron is doing this to her. In fact, she can't understand why he has been so angry since the moment he stepped inside the Fischer mansion.

She is not dense of her surroundings, but she chose not to pay attention to Aaron because she didn't want to make the situation worse.

After relentlessly trying to stop Aaron from pulling to who-knows-where, Aaron finally stopped and released her. She looks around and found out that they are at the end side of the garden where there are only a few people who pass by.

”Don't get too close to him,” Aaron spoke, and Nathalia only frowned at him. She looks at expression, she's trying to understand what Aaron is pointing out.

”What? What are you talking about?” Nathalia has no clue who is 'him' that Aaron is talking about. She knows a lot of people who go by 'him' and clearly, Aaron is not being specific with her.

”Zedrick! He said. ”Don't get too close to him. I don't trust him.” It was a stupid reason, and it was too late for him to take it back because Nathalia is now angry at him. It's hard for him to look at Nathalia.

She's angry at him because of a guy. A guy in which is not him.

”Excuse me? How dare you say that to me. I have known big brother Zedrick longer than I have known you. If you're going to say who should I put my trust in then, my answer would be, big brother Zedrick. I trust him more than you.”

Initially, Nathalia plans to have Aaron get to know her big brother Zedrick. She wants Aaron to know more about her. She didn't have the chance to do it earlier because she can tell that Aaron is not in the mood, and she wants to catch up with her big brother Zedrick.

However, after she heard what Aaron just said, she doesn't think that she wants to let Aaron get close to Zedrick. She doesn't like it when Aaron is already holding a nonsensical grudge on to someone who she trusts so much.

'Why is he being like this?!' Nathalia inwardly asks.

”You're choosing that guy over me?” Aaron is surprised that Nathalia would rather trust Zedrick than him. Zedrick and Nathalia go way back, and he understands that. But he is not thinking rationally right now. He is upset at the fact that Nathalia is choosing to trust another guy over him.
