”Oh, come on, Nathalia! Don't say that! It's hurting my feelings.” Elizabeth says this, but she actually doesn't care if Nathalia misses her or not. All she wants from Nathalia is the satisfaction that she wanted. To fill her up and to make her feel enlightened. ”Anyways, how's the gift that I gave you that time? I'm sure I left quite a mark on your back.”
Nathalia subconsciously reached out at the back of her shoulder. Elizabeth guessed it correctly, the mark on her back is still intact. She has a way to remove it, but she couldn't do it. She wants to get rid of Elizabeth out of her life permanently before she removes it.
Even if her scar is gone, it would not matter because removing the scar on her back means nothing if the culprit is still around.
”Yeah,” Nathalia replied. ”You did leave a mark on me. Every time I see my back in the mirror, it reminds me of you. You've hunted me for so many years now, Elizabeth. It's time to end this.”
”End this?” Elizabeth repeated. ”Why on earth would you want to end the connection between you and me?” Not caring for what Nathalia feels about her is one thing, but hearing Nathalia says that she wants to end things with her is something that she does not want to ignore.
She has finally realized that it's not her jealousy that drives her towards Nathalia, it's the special connection between them that drives her. Drives her to do things. Nathalia gave light to her life, and she would not want to lose that pleasure, that satisfaction away.
”There is no connection between you and me. You're being delusional, Elizabeth.” Nathalia has finally confirmed it. Elizabeth has gone insane. It's not about jealousy anymore. It's more like Elizabeth wants to hurt her because she wants to.
It's like Elizabeth kept this thinking in her mind that if she doesn't see Nathalia getting hurt, she wouldn't be able to feel satisfied, to live on her life. Just the thought of that is creeping Nathalia out.
Nathalia is somewhat regretting coming to see Elizabeth all her own. Maybe she should have agreed with Zen and she would have been in her bed by now. 'Well, it's too late for that now.' Nathalia inwardly said.
”No! I'm not being delusional. You're the one who's being delusional! I know that we have a connection! You just, you just don't want to admit it!” No! She wouldn't allow Nathalia to leave her. As suspected, she will continue to her plan. She will have to recreate that incident so that Nathalia will finally accept that there is a connection between them.
”Enough is enough. You and I have no connection. I want you in my life. Ever. And that is final.” In every word that she is spouting, Nathalia was firm. She wants Elizabeth to feel that she is serious.
”You're just saying that because of your childhood friends, Josh and Zen, they both don't like me. They told you to cut ties with me! And if it's not them, then it must be Aaron! Yes! It must be him! He's trying to get cut our connection.” Out of the blue, Elizabeth pulled a gun out of her bag, and that surprised Nathalia. She didn't expect Elizabeth to bring a gun.
