”Arion, what's your problem? Kyle is a good kid and he treats your precious daughter well. Why is it so hard for you to like this kid?” Mary asked. Back then, Arion is also like Kyle. He did a lot of things just to impress her and to prove to her master that he is worthy of her.

'How can he not see that Kyle is also doing the same thing he did back then?' She inwardly asked.

”This kid, that you like so much, is a cunning one. I know that because I was once like that in that in the past.” Not too long ago, Arion realized why Mary's master is so against him to be Mary's partner back then. Harrison doesn't like him because he was too cunning.

When he heard it the first time, he can't figure out the answer. But when he first met Kyle, he fully understands why. Back then, he did things that he really regretted. He made Mary cry, made her feel pain. And for that, he is sure that Kyle makes the same mistakes he did. He doesn't want to see his only daughter go through a similar experience as her mother.

Marcus sighed, then he patted his son's shoulder. ”Son, you and Kyle are two different people. Sure, he may cunning, but I don't think it would go to the point that might hurt Anna. Kyle is a smart kid.” Marcus is sure that Kyle knows that once his granddaughter is hurt because of him, he, the patriarch of the Coleman family, will go after him.

Even if it might cause a war between Robertsons and the Colemans, Marcus will do anything to punish Kyle.

”Uhh. I don't want to sound rude, but can we stop talking about this and just focus on Anna? She's about to come up and answer the judges' question.” Lannie stopped listening to them the moment she saw her brother's smile. She doesn't want to fill her head with a lot of questions about her brother's personality. But when she noticed that it's finally Anna's time to answer the judges' question, she immediately informed the people she's with.

She would rather have them watch Anna than to keep arguing on whether her brother is worthy of Anna or not.

”You're right. We should.” Aaron immediately agreed. After teasing his father for a moment, he suddenly lost interest. Good thing that Lannie said something or else he might have to cover his ears from his father's childish reasons.

Throughout the whole thing, Anna answered the judges' question without any problem. She didn't stutter and her answer really impressed the judges. Even Marcus is impressed. Before, Marcus worried about how will his granddaughter handle situations, like answering the press' questions. Now that he witnessing his granddaughter's performance, it seems like his worries are all for nothing.

So far, from what he has been witnessing, both Anna and Aaron are ready to face the public. ”Looks like it's almost time for us to introduce our family's heir, don't you think so, Aaron?”

Normally, Marcus will have to wait for a few more years to introduce his family's next heir, but waiting for much longer is going to be a problem. With that family treasure has gone missing, the other elders are starting to notice and they want to use it against him and his family.

Marcus can't let it happen. All he wants to do now is to introduce Aaron to be the next heir. As for Anna, she will have the life she wants and she will also be supporting her brother through and through.

Aaron is not that surprised to hear his grandfather say that to him. With the fact that he has the family treasure in his hand, and only three people know about it, he understands why his grandfather is in a hurry now.

”I understand, Grandfather,” Aaron replied. While he was in training under his uncle James, Aaron noticed that his uncle James has been meeting up with the other elders in secrecy.

The elders have been making their moves, and only a stupid person can't notice such movements from them. His grandfather may have noticed their movements, but he didn't notice that James is the one pulling the strings behind the scenes.

Aaron is not sure if the elders are just good at hiding the fact that his uncle James is the ring leader of everything or his grandfather is just refusing to suspect his uncle James. Either case, Aaron will make sure that his uncle James will not have his way because this very day is the day his uncle will have to face all the consequences of his actions.

”I sure do hope that you finish everything today, son, or else, I will take over and do things my way.” Arion still hasn't forgotten the deal he made with both of his children, and he sure hopes that they meet his expectations.
