Chapter 373 - Revenge 374: Missing Gown (2/2)

Understanding what Anna is trying to say, Leon did not hesitate to agree with her.

Two rounds have passed and currently, Anna and Leon are getting for the final round. Neither Anna or Leon are excited by everything that is happening to them, the only person that is excited is their class advisor. The only wish Anna and Leon have right now is to stop and take a long break.

”We're gonna win! I can feel it! W-I-N! WIN!” Anna's class advisor excitedly chanted. With the cheers from the audience, the class advisor is already confident that her two students are the ones winning the event.

”Teacher, I think you should stop doing that. Can't you see those glares they're giving to us?” The other participants and class advisors are giving them glares whenever she chants that her two students are going to win.

”Tch. I don't care about them. Right at this moment, all I care about is you two. They can give us all the glare they want, but that won't make us go down from the path we are in.” Though her speech is very encouraging, Anna and Leon can't feel any sincerity coming out of their class advisor's mouth.

”Teacher!” One of Anna's classmates, the one who is in charge of her outfits for this occasion, suddenly came running towards them. The expression on her face says that there is a huge problem.

”What's the problem?” The teacher asked.

”I couldn't find Anna's gown for the final round. I'm sorry, teacher.” The girl is already crying as she explained herself to them. According to her, she left the gown nicely, then she went out to get a snack for herself, and when she came back, the gown went missing. She also said that search every corner to find that dress. Despite her effort, she still could not find it.

Looking at how hard she is crying, the feeling of guilt must have overwhelmed her. ”I-It's alright. There's no need to cry.” Anna gently said to her. An honest girl like is someone that Anna does not have the heart to scold at.

”B-But, without it...” The girl can't even finish her sentence because of her extreme guilt. Since the first round, she kept hearing her teacher saying that their class is going to win, and yet, when the final round has come, she made a big mistake leaving the dress all alone. This time, she really made her teacher be disappointed at her.

”Leon, how much time do we have until the final round?” The teacher asked. In her tone, there is no sign of anger or disappointment. The girl doesn't know whether she should be relieved at that or not.

”Well, since the principal decided to entertain our school guests, she put a lot of entertainment all around the school ground, and with that, we have an hour and a half until the final round.” Thinking about that, it made Leon frown. Why are the other participants are getting ready for the next round early when they have so much time in their hands. Mostly the ones that are getting ready are the girls.

'I can never understand this.' He inwardly said.

”We don't have much time to find a perfect dress for Anna.” The shakingly said and is about to cry again, however, her class advisor stopped her by patting her head.

”You don't have to get worked up about it. I got it covered, so don't worry.”  Despite the situation that they are in right now, their teacher made them feel reassured that everything is going to be just fine.

”How are you gonna fix the problem, teacher?” Anna asked curiously.

”I have connections.” She said with a smirk and left the room.

As she is walking down the hallway, she took out her phone and dialed someone's certain number. For her to be calling that person makes her feel so nostalgic about the past and sad at the same time.

Only after a few rings, that person finally answered. ”Hey, Alfonso. I know that it's been a long time, but I really need you to do me a favor.”
