They might be the polar opposites of each other, but they do understand each other so well to the point where she can understand why Nathalia sometimes says that she's jealous of their closeness.

After minutes of walking towards the principal's office, Josh and Mrs. Brown finally arrived.

”Now, tell me what really happened back there, Josh.” The principal asked.

”I got angry at what Elizabeth just said that's why I slapped her three times in the face. And as what you saw earlier, her face is starting to swollen, that means I slapped her hard which what she deserves.”

Without a doubt, the principal can tell that Josh is telling her the truth, but honestly speaking, she did not expect Josh to be that honest. She actually thought that Josh would deny some parts of what happened, but that is not the case.

”What exactly did that young lady say to you?” Josh is one of the students of Crystal High that she has been keeping an eye on. And from what she observes, Josh is the type of person who wouldn't attack a person without any reason. Furthermore, Josh is a rational person, none of his records says that he attacks base on his emotions.

”It's none of your business, Mrs. Brown. What happened between me and Elizabeth stays with us.” Josh's response suddenly made the principal remember a piece of memory from her younger days. The way Josh talks to him right now reminded her of one person that can be really annoying when he speaks.

”You brat! You slapped a young lady in the school property! Of course, it's going to be my damn business! So speak up!” This is the first time in a very long time that the principal shouted at a student like that. She felt annoyed and nostalgic at the same time.

”Well, I'm not gonna tell you.” Josh is firmly standing his ground. He will not let the principal intimidate him. Besides, even if he tells her everything, she will not believe him. So what is the point of telling her?

”You do know that you will get suspended because you've done to her, right?”Josh nodded as a response to her question. ”Also, why did you have to make her hand bleed?” So far, Josh has never said anything about Elizabeth's bleeding hand.

”Her hand? What are you talking about, Mrs. Brown? The only part of her being that I touched is her face.”

Before the principal could even say a word, two figures suddenly entered the room, the school nurse and Elizabeth whose face has become swollen from Josh's slap.

”It's true, Mrs. Brown. It's not Josh's fault that this young lady over here got her hand bleeds. She has long nails, and she clenched very hard that her nails dug deeply to her palm.” The school nurse said in a matter of fact tone.

”Since that is the case, I wouldn't question you about that any further. I'm sorry for accusing you of that, Josh.” Truthfully, Josh wouldn't mind that kind of accusation. After all, he does want to make Elizabeth bleed to death. Too bad, that he's not the one making her bleed.

”It's alright, Mrs. Brown.” Josh glance at Elizabeth and he saw the disgusting expression that she is showing to everyone in the room. 'Keep acting like that, Elizabeth because by tomorrow, you won't be able to show that kind of face anymore.'

”However, that does not mean you're not in trouble for you have done to this young lade, Josh Visser.” In an instant, the principal is back to her usual strict self. It doesn't matter who is at fault between Elizabeth and Josh because Josh is the one who made the move first and Elizabeth didn't strike back. With all the witnesses, there is nothing that Josh can say to save himself.

However, it does seem that Josh no intention of getting himself out of trouble. He is calmer than usual which somehow made Elizabeth and the principal have a big question mark in their minds.

”M-Mrs. Brown, y-you don't have to punish Josh-”

Before Elizabeth can even finish her dramatic sentence, Josh cut her off coldly. ”Shut up, you damned dimwit. I don't need you to say something to defend me. I'm not that desperate like you.” Elizabeth continues to say more nonsense, Josh might be able to control himself again and slapped her face once again until it bleeds.

Elizabeth flinched at how cold Josh is. This time she is not acting, she is definitely scared of Josh right now. She somehow got a feeling that Josh is going to attack her again, and this time it's not going to be a few strikes.

Without any hesitation, Elizabeth shuts her mouth.
