Chapter 320 - Revenge 321: Scheming Behind Her Back (1/2)
”What do you mean by that, Mary?” Leonardo asked. No matter how angry Mary is to Arion, Mary wouldn't mind releasing an article that her husband is back. But for some reason, this time is different.
”What I mean is that something fishy is going at the company. And if the people in the company know that Arion is back they're gonna make some trouble.” For the past few days, Mary has been noticing some changes in the company, and she's been having some bad feelings about it. ”We already have enough trouble with those crazy biological parents of mine, I don't want to add more to that.”
At the moment, Mary is doing everything she can to suppress the changes inside the company. But she knew that the suppression won't last long, so she has to make sure that she has a plan to counter-attack it.
”Hmmm...” Leonardo is left in his thoughts. What Mary just said is true, all she could do right now is suppress those people who are scheming behind her back.
The company is important and all, but the lives of everyone else is the number one thing in Mary's mind. Most of her attention should focus on one thing only, and that would be planning something that will work against the enemy they are facing right now.
”Do you want me to help you handle those bastards?” Leonardo asked. He is referring to the people who are scheming inside the company. Although he is not a part of the company Mary is running right now, he is still one of Mary's business partners.
Whatever is gonna happen to the company could also affect his. It's better for him to help Mary in anyways he can as soon as possible.
”At the moment, I don't think I need it for now. Besides, I think I already know who's responsible for this problem.” Mary said coldly. Just remembering that person is making Mary's blood boil in anger. ”I guess I have been too nice to him.” She added.
”Him? Please do tell who that person is.” It's very rare for Mary to be nice to someone, and if that someone angers her, it will not end well. And it's very interesting to know who that someone is.
”Oh, Leonardo, let me keep it a secret for now. You will be surprised when I'm done with that guy. Nobody is allowed to mess with me especially behind my back.” Mary already has a few different kinds of scenarios to punish the person who is messing around her territory.
”Mom! Mom!” The sound of Aaron's voice is coming near then, and by the sound of it, it sounded very urgent.
”It looks like your son needs its mommy,” Leonardo said with a teasing smile on his face. In some ways, Leonardo thinks that despite how Aaron handles himself, he is a mama's boy on the inside. It's very funny because Aaron denies that fact every time someone says that to him.
”Oh, shut up, you.” Just like Leonardo, Mary also loves to tease her son. But nowadays, she has been too busy and has not been able to spend time with her children.
”Mom!” Aaron shouted the moment he arrived at where Mary and Leonardo is.
”What is it, Aaron?” She doesn't know what's bothering her son, but her son shouldn't be using his voice at that volume. He knows that his grandfather doesn't like to hear that kind of volume around the mansion. Marcus is getting old and his ears hurt when someone shouts.
”Mom, have you seen Anna? I've waited for her to come back. I called her phone, but still nothing. I need to see her right away! I have something to show her.” There was a large grin on Aaron's face as he spoke.
”I think she is still with Kyle. What are you going to show her anyway?” The moment Mary mentioned Kyle's name, her son's face suddenly changed. It seems like he dislikes Kyle even more than before.
