Chapter 301 - Revenge 302: I Owe You Two More Than I Owe Your Mother (2/2)

”Mom?” Anna started. ”She's on a date.” Because of the delicious drink, Anna said that without much of a thought. When she realized what she just said, she glances at her father. For some reason, she wants to beat herself for saying such information about her mother without thinking.

Anna was about to say that she was just kidding, but her father suddenly stood up and said, ”I'm sorry, Aunty Claire. I think I have to go now. There is an emergency I have to take care of.” Without waiting for anyone's reply, Arion dashed out of the house.

”I made a big mistake, didn't I?” Anna nervously said.

”No. You didn't, sweet child.” Claire reassures Anna with a smile. ”It's only a natural of your father to react that way whenever he hears some guys getting close to your mother. So don't worry too much about it.”

There is definitely going to be an argument when Arion and Mary meet each other, but it's best for them to meet now, right? After all, Arion needs Mary to help him get close to the twins. The sooner Arion coaxes Mary, the sooner Arion will be able to get his twins to trust him.

”Okay! Since we're all being honest here, then I'm gonna say something!” Leon started in a declaring tone. ”Kyle is one of the few people who knows that your father is around.”

”Say what?” Anna and Aaron said at the same time.

”Mary, it's so nice to see you again.” A handsome man greeted Mary as soon as she got neat the table her twins reserved for her so-called date.

”Same here, Yun.” Seeing Yun again for the first time in such a long time, Mary felt nostalgic about the time she and Yun were young and all they do is have fun. She wonders if she could do those things again just one more time.

”It's hard to believe that your twins are the culprit for setting up this date.” Yun can only laugh when he remembered the call he received from the twins. They suddenly asked him to go on a date with their mother, and that really surprised him.

At first, he wanted to reject, but after thinking through it, he agreed. Meeting with Mary is not such a bad thing, after all, he and Mary know what kind of relationship they both have now.

Mary chuckled after hearing that, ”I know. I mean, do you even call this a date?”

”No, I don't. It's more like a reunion for both of us.” The feelings he had towards Mary is long gone, and if people misunderstand there meet up today, then it's their fault.

”It's nice talking to you like this again,” Mary said as she shows her grateful smile.

Apart from Leonardo and the others, Yun is the only who she considers as her friend outside of the organization.

Being around Yun is making her feel like a normal person for a moment.

”Let's do this again with Leonardo and the others. It's much more fun with them.” Yun is one of those people who is not afraid of getting close to Mary after knowing what kind of other job she is doing.
