Chapter 299 - Revenge 300: We Got What We Want (1/2)

”C-curse at you? It's not like that.” Anna stopped on her tracks, then she lowered her head. ”I never hated you, but I do question you for leaving us.”

Hating her father never cross her mind. All she has is questions of whys. Although she despises Rebecca and Juan, Anna never used the word hate to someone else because of her, everyone has their own reasons.

As for Rebecca and Juan, she despises them because they ruined her life because of their greed. Their reason is nothing but greed. People like them deserve those kinds of words.

”I know what I did is wrong-”

Arion was unable to finish his words when he suddenly heard gunshots from the exact they are going to. Before he could even move, his daughter runs towards the room, she has a worried expression plastered on her face.

Anna tried to open the door, however, it is locked on the inside. The gunshot insides continue to ring into her ears, and that really scares Anna. She has no idea what's going inside. She tried everything, kick the door, bangs the door, none of those is making any difference. It is still locked.

However, she still keeps on doing those methods. She is not thinking straight right now, all she can think of is her brother. The reason is that she remembered what happened in her past life, her brother died, and she doesn't want that to happen. She is not ready yet.

Seeing the state his daughter is in right now Arion immediately both of Anna's shoulder, making her face him. ”Anna! Calm down. With you acting like that won't make the door open itself. So let me handle it.”

After calming Anna down, Arion took his gun out and pointed it at the doorknob. Arion shot the doorknob, and it opened wide. The first thing that he saw is his son struggling to get away from a familiar face's grip.

Both daughter and father pair eyes were wide open when they saw Johan. They both did not expect to see Johan in Rolfe's headquarters.

”Johan! Let go of Aaron!” It's clear from Arion's tone that he is extremely angry. Seeing that his son's shirt has stained blood, he immediately thought that Johan shot his son.

Aaron stopped struggling because of his shock seeing that man beside his sister. To him, it seems like time has stopped and inside of him, anger rises up quickly.

”Whoa! I didn't expect you to be here. I thought that it was only your son who infiltrated this place.” Johan said in an amused tone. Johan noticed that Aaron stop struggling from his grip, so he took a glance at him and saw the expressing he is making, and a smirk escapes from him. ”It also seems that your son has no idea you would be here. What a bad dad you are, Arion.”

”Don't make me repeat myself again, Johan! Let go of my son!” Arion is tempted to shot Johan in the head, however, he cannot do that since there is a risk of his son getting hit instead.

Johan only smiled, and let Aaron go. ”Woah! Whoa! Whoah! Haha. Don't be so grumpy, Arion. Geez!” Johan's playfulness activated when he saw Arion's expression of extreme anger. ”As much as I am tempted to kill your son today, I am going to let him go as you asked. However, there will be no next time.”

Seeing Arion in Rolfe's headquarter, Johan can only think that his plan A has failed. His plan A is to negotiate with Rolfe about Harrison's life. 'Looks like it's impossible to get my hands on that old man. Damn it! Then again, there is always a plan B.' Johan inwardly said.
