Chapter 292 - Revenge 293: Something is Not Right (1/2)
”This is their main headquarters?” Anna asked in disbelief.
”Yes. Quite disappointing isn't it?” Just like Anna, Aaron is also in disbelief. They expected Rolfe's territory to be more secure and hard to get in since, but then again, the organization that Rolfe runs is only a small one.
It doesn't compare to other organizations that have a deep grudge on their family's organization.
”Even if it is small, we still have to be careful, brother. Just like you said, anything can happen.” Aaron nodded at his sister's claim, then started to move towards the backdoor of the building.
Aside from getting all the important information they needed for this mission, the twins also acquired the building's blueprint. They know exactly where is the best way they could sneak inside the building without being detected right away.
Once they reached the backdoor, they saw that getting inside is not as simple as walking in and out of the house. They need a certain card to get inside and there are also four people guarding the entrance. ”Here I thought that there will be no one guarding that back door,” Anna said.
One of those four people is right next to a big red button, and Anna is guessing that if someone were to press that button, an alarm will set off and it will indicate that someone has infiltrated the headquarters. Anna and Aaron are not that fast enough to stop all four of them at once from pressing that button.
Both Anna and Aaron doesn't want that to happen. It will only give a headache and it will be harder for them to get inside. ”I thought so too, but it seems that the goddess of luck is here with us,” Aaron replied with a smirk plastered on his face.
”What?” Anna stared at her brother. ”How is any of this called luck, brother?” Instead of saying that they are in luck, Anna would rather say that they miscalculated the back entrance of the building.
”Dear sister, mother always told us to observe our surroundings, and as I observed the surrounding, I see people wearing the same outfit.”
Hearing that Anna looks around and saw that all the guards are wearing the same outfits. In just one minute, Anna already knows what her brother is hinting at her. ”Are you serious? Wearing those just to get inside is way riskier than sneaking inside.”
Anna wouldn't mind disguising herself, but she is not as good as her mother and her uncles in blending in. She is still a novice in blending with other people without being detected. 'Is it a mistake to come here?' Anna inwardly asked herself.
”Sister, just think of this as one of those practice games Mom is always making us do. Besides, it will be a good experience for future missions.” Aaron knows the risk, but he does not want his time and back out. This is the day they set up for this specific mission, and they must finish it today.
Giving her without much of a choice, Anna sigh and said, ”Fine. We'll do it.”
”Good. We're gonna target those two. They are somewhat far away from the other, so I think it's safe to abduct their clothes.” Aaron has never done something like this before, so he is somewhat excited to do it.
”Abduct their clothes? That's one way to put it, I guess.” Sometimes, Anna thinks that her brother is weird. Her brother definitely didn't get his weirdness from their mother, it is most likely from their father. She wanted to voice that fact out, but she can not. Aaron definitely won't like it.
Locking on their target, Anna and Aaron stealthily followed them. When they are at the distance where there are only a few people around, the twins made their move. The twins covered their mouths, then dragged them behind the bushes.
Anna kicked their guns away. One of them was about to scream, but Aaron did not let him. Aaron punched him in the face and said, ”Who told you that you are allowed to scream?”
The man couldn't voice out his scream. It was not the punch the made him shut up, it was Aaron's cold stone voice that made him silent. He always thought that is was only his big boss who uses that kind of terrifying tone, but it seems that the young man in front of him is much scarier than his big boss.
