”So defensive! They say those who say things like that are true.” At first, Zen has no plan of teasing Aaron and Nathalia, but seeing how defensive they are, he decided to continue to tease them. It's not like he can do it every day. ”It's alright, you two. I am your friend. If you two have feelings for each other, then all I can do is support you both.”
”I'm definitely gonna kill you if you don't stop talking such nonsense topic.” Truthfully said, Aaron doesn't know what to feel about the idea of him and Nathalia as a couple. To him, he is sure that he only sees Nathalia as his friend and nothing more.
But he also knows that for some reason, he is forcing himself to believe that fact. He wonders why he does that.
”Zen, do you want me to tell your mother about the things you've been doing behind her back?” A menacing voice was heard from behind them. All three of them turn their heads around and look at the person who just spoke.
They saw Leonardo with his usual cold demeanor. Subconsciously, Zen gulped at the sight of Leonardo. His uncle Leo has always been the cold one and he is used to it, however, at this moment, he is afraid of looking straight into his uncle Leo's eyes for the very first time.
”You're in so much trouble now,” Josh said in a low voice that only Zen can hear. For the years of him being friends with Nathalia, he knows that Leonardo is a doting father to his only daughter. As doting as Leonardo is, Josh knows that Leonardo doesn't like the fact of any guy approaching Nathalia.
”S-shut up!” Zen replied very loudly, and that made Leonardo frown.
”Did you just told me to shut up?” Leonardo released a scoff, ”Heh. I guess you're not afraid of your mother then.” Leonardo completely misunderstood that the person Zen told to shut up is not him but Josh.
Sweat is starting to form on Zen's forehead when he heard that from Leonardo. With his heart beating fast and the feeling of fear, Zen immediately stood up and went straight in front of Leonardo. ”Oh, great uncle Leo, it was Josh that I want to shut up, not you. You've completely misunderstood me, uncle Leo.”
Zen is afraid that if he does not coax Leonardo right away, Leonard will have a conversation with his mother, and he can't let that happen. His mother must not know about the fool things he does in his school and about him going out in the middle of the night just to participate in a motorbike racing.
”Daddy, don't be such a meanie to Zen. I'm sure that he is telling the truth.” Nathalia said as she hugged her father's left arm. Although Nathalia was annoyed by how Zen teased her earlier, she still has to save Zen from his mother.
Zen's mother doesn't like to hear her son fooling around in school and if she were to know about her son sneaking out at night doing dangerous motorbike race, she will be furious beyond expectation.
Zen will be probably banned from his video games, playing basketball, and other kinds of stuff that Zen enjoys to do.
Leonardo gave his daughter a gentle smile and said, ”If you say so.” Hearing that made Zen sigh in relief. ”I will talk to your aunt Mary first, then we go home. Your mother wants us home before lunch.”
